Reuploaded Drake Technologies Alpha for 1.7 Alpha with fixes to minor bugs and exploits.

Also reuploaded Drake Technologies Alpha for 1.6 with a minor bug fix to a launcher, and Items Pack 912 to remove items that were exported to Drake Technologies Alpha.

Reuploaded another hotfix for Drake Technologies Alpha for 1.7 Alpha. This one fixes a minor problem that prevent ZapSats from firing at enemies within Battle Arena or other confined spaces.

Uploaded new mod Domina Update. It causes the Sustain and Defend overlays to use procedurally generated effects instead of sprites. The new effects will fit and cover any ship.

Updated Star Castle Arcade for 1.7 alpha 1. Features some tweaks and bug fixes. Arcade mode has three prologue screens available, one chosen randomly when starting a game.

Also, for those who missed it, Playership Drones v7 Beta was released April 21, 2016, a few weeks ago.

Uploaded new mod Barrier Item Set. It features two items the function as a set. The items are a "barrier arc projector" that creates an energy wall in front of the ship, and a "barrier particle launcher" that draws power from the wall and fires shots forward. The projector can function by itself, but is enhanced by the launcher. The launcher requires the projector to function.

Do you need permission to examine a mod?

Are you asking me if you want to use the code? Yes, you can. It is very simple (to the point that anyone proficient can think of and make it in about a minute), but I suspect it may be bugged (due to reliance of gSource). I tried to use it for my Star Castle mod, but it did not always work properly, and I needed an alternative specifically tailored to the ships.

Unfortunately I'm a beginner modder. My current aim is to amass as much documentation as possible to become proficient.

Possible bug with Items 912, tested by enabling mods one-by-one.

The vanilla mining cargo hold no longer lets me bring aboard ore. The only option is "leave". Ore does not appear in inventory, and the floating ore disappears. Without, the normal option of recovering partial ore works fine. Confirmed with several new games starting as the mining ship on domina and eternity port.

Looting ore (with or without miner's hold) with Items Pack 912 enabled seems to work for me. Items912 adds content, but should not overwrite anything.

Mod conflict of some kind? Further testing shows Items 912 by itself works, or all the other mods with Items 912 disabled work. Otherwise this picture should not be possible when I've got 400+ tons free, even without the mining cargo hold it should give the option for partial ore recovery. I'll try to figure out which specific mods are conflicting.

Weird, it was looking like a 3-way conflict between drake/items912/dynamic
Then it's doing it even with 912 disabled and now Drake Tech is the mod I can toggle to break it.
Then I try to narrow it down to drake tech, and suddenly all mods enabled is working which wasn't working before.

I give up, it's just screwing with me now. The bug might be tied to something other than the mod packs, but I can't find the pattern.

Oh my.... There is some simply wonderful things in the new revision of Drake.
And also a tiny bit of disappointment that the "solaris" gear is no longer a thing. Oh well, I suppose it was a little on the OP side.
