This mod adds a 3-ship fighter squadron as a playable "ship". The three weapon mounts are positioned to fire from each of the three fighters. The mod features 40-facing ship graphics, large selection screen image, custom shield graphics, a new missile launcher item, and 3-segment armor. It does not overwrite any standard Transcendence features. It should work with any mod that doesn't directly overwrite it.

Unzip it into the \extensions\ directory inside your Transcendence installation. If you do not have an \extensions\ directory, create one first inside your Transcendence directory.

The large graphic for ship selection is modified from the MiM-31 Karyovin fighter as seen in the anime "SDF Macross" (http://www.macross2.net/m3/sdfmacross/karyovin.htm). In-game graphics are modified from George's Hornet originals.

To do:

- add drive exhaust, rotated to match
- add custom armor graphics

Wasn't this called the Valkyrie? ..with extended limbs the Gerwalk ... upright Battroid?

Valkyrie was the transforming ("Super-Dimensional") version. The Playable Fighter Squadron version - at least the selection screen - is a different fighter. The Macross universe had tons of non-transforming craft like the Karyovin, but nobody remembers them because we only saw them as target practice. http://WWW.MACROSS2.NET has tons of specs, history, and images of all the Macross / Robotech craft, Valkyrie and Karyovin included.

too many great ideas, but I think they = image work

the NightHawkX and pyroGX ( i keep calling it the GTXPro for some reason ) was the best things I seen to date : I would hope that those that do these Macross items can do as good as the bar was set pretty high already.
