Hey guys, long time since I lost posted, just recently got back into Transcendence, and was inspired to mod something into the game.

Emergency Escape Beacons

After ruining my perfect near-death streak through the early levels, I thought of creating a device that would allow players to get out of trouble safely. And so the Emergency Escape Beacon was born! Not really a beacon, you can buy it for about 850 credits (each), and use it from - one use only, though. It will teleport you to the nearest friendly station, regardless of distance.

A later-level one exists, which basically clones the jumpdrive, and instead takes the player to another friendly station instead.

Exactly what this is designed for - even if just in the early game.

Hopefully the one-use aspect of it will mean it's not just overpowered and god-like, but a tactical choice
for hardcore players, especially if you get into hairy situations.
