If it effects only the playership and wrecks there's not that much point. It can't effect shots. That's what kills the AI. If it effects the player's shots it allows trick shooting where the AI can't return fire because of obstructions.

Gravity has no place in Transcendence 1.x. It could be implemented in a fork with more advanced AI capable of handling it, but that is not on the horizon. There are directX library compatibility issues that make compiling extremely difficult and the AI is and probably needs to be compiled code rather than script. It's not a bottleneck at present AFAIK, but if it involved interpreted script it would become one.

Gravity doesn't affect missiles neighter beams?
...I was thinking about a device to serve as a shield agaisnt gravity effects...for the middle of the advanture...L7...

but now, with the AI, I was thinking to use the gravity to slow down ships close to Stars, and space-anomalies...But, just drag the playership, if it gets too close to a Black-Hole, a class B-Stars and class O-Stars, or something really massive...would be good enough...

Systems with this kind of things 'll be uninhabited...

nice pictures,
however neutron stars are really small, like a few dozens of km in diameter.
Black holes can be any size (from a few km to millions of km), even if the Schwarzschild radius put some constraints to their maximum size.

Yeah, about the black holes, They 'll variete by the size of the in-game stars of the mod, about the neutron stars, well, thanks for the information, I kind of without time to work with it, the short-free time that I have I'm adding stuffs for my "New stuff" mod...
(...and without "codding" help 'll take time to release something....sorry)

Black holes, ll have 1/10 of the size of the star that it came from...
Super-Nova 10 times larger of the star that it came from...
I didn't decide about the size of neutron stars...

(and yeah, there 'll be some anomalies that 'll happen in-game time, hehheheh, some naturally, and others by external influencies...if you know what I mean...heheh...)

Hey, for the 'recruiting' thing...
...I can provide the code to make the sorvereigns to Friend -change when destroyed-> Foe; Foe -Change at event -> Friend

So, the "hardcoding" (isn't really that hard) knowledge is not really necessary, I just need people with time to "teach", basicly, what is need, are generic itens for minor, and major races, with good descriptions, and of course some graphics...



"Generic" isn't the best word, basicly, those items would sustein their economy, such as the corporate and stuff...as well would provide technological breakthroughs for the players, upgrades, refuel...

Imagine a pirates life, that you can buy and sell things for the charon pirates, help them to get more technology, get some tech\money\fuel from them...
or fight agaisn't a CSC in a mission for the Ares...
