Tan-Ru-Dorem mod?

How about the Tan-Ru-Dorem station becoming the players' station with items that give it some abilities like all the other stations? Also able to store massive quantities of goods. With the whole area encased in a field only reachable through a stargate or near the end of the vacuum area(outside of the system)? You would have to upgrade it to do each ability by gathering a certain type of tool that is required to upgrade it? Oh BTW, I have plenty of other ideas...am working on a game myself(still in the research phase). I plan to grow up as a modder playing this game just to get knowledge on how everything works.
New things interest me.

As it is, tan-ru-Dorem is abandoned and only you have access to it. i don't see why you shouldn't be able to just directly store stuff in it, period.

its kinda redundant though, when you could just use crates.
