A system where the Borg has overrun a system and the technology they faced destroyed their warping/gating capabilities(how you got there was a defective gem and getting out is with repairing the other defective gem[so you get two]). A npc character accidentally warped there and he/she agreed to fix the gem if you keep the borg at bay(darn near impossible) for a fixed amount of time.
New things interest me.

Sounds like a good idea, but its gonna be hard to code it.

the hardest thing is turning out a file the game can take: Borg are laying around the Fleet boards you can get the ideas for them and turn them into proper working stuff if you have the talent for images ( i do not, obviously )
but the system is easy and the .....meeting is in the game already...just adapt the csc ROM pick up mission and turn Juan into a Pilgrim.

I altered Juan so much in my tests with the Auviq that he don't like me anymore.

you could base the borg off of the luminous and work from there, not sure how well it work. Just a thought.
