Yes.

Please do not take that bit too seriously. I put the GLA from CnC Generals in because that was exactly what I saw in my dream last night, which had them doing a mirrored version of the 1st US mission in the game, but instead of being annihilated by US tanks defending the base, they were faced with Gallian Light tanks (Type-35s) which I assumed to be Lasbeakan units. Then I assumed command of the lighter landships (called "Land Destroyers") and had to use them and some remaining tanks to defend the larger ones until they power up.

I will have to replace the GLA with less copyright-problematic materials in the future, but it can be a campaign level if a ground-mod is actually made. (BTW the Sabretooth is a "Dream Tank", too. Don't underestimate the inspirational power of dreams.)

After seeing some aeronef drawings and renders, I have the idea that old-generation Moreillian craft should look like aeronefs and other steampunk-style airships. And since the Tripitz is considered obsolete, I think it should have an aeronef-style hull instead of current one, which is more similar to the "modern" craft instead of the "older" ones (exemplified by the Unyielding Class.)

Here are the two hull designs, please tell me which one you prefer:

A little bump for an idea dump here.

After completing the space module, I am thinking the possibility of an atmospheric module with aeronefs, flying stations, cities with tall docking spires, and floating intersection gates replacing the space environment as the background for an adventure.

Notes on BTR-800 Battle TRansport:

The results of a cooperative Dern-Moreillian effort to develop an all-terrain APC, the BTR-800 is a vehicle designed to satisfy two vastly different combat philosophies: The Dern doctrine of rapidly deploying entrenched infantry to hold strategic points taken with heavy armour and the Moreillian combined-arms principle of having armour and motorized infantry support each other in combat. With a capacity of 3 crewmen and 10 passengers, it can provide adequate transportation of personnel to and from the front lines. The GSDF variant is armed with a 20mm Hispano autocannon, which gives it good firepower for a vehicle of its size, while the Dern Army variant is armed with a deadly Cermak-70 plasma gun, allowing it to be used as an infantry fire support platform in addition to a transport.

Nicknamed the "Dern-wagon" and "War-bus" by their GSDF and Dern recipients respectively, the BTR-800 has found itself pressed into more direct-combat roles than its original design by both militaries. The GSDF used these vehicles as mobile cover for infantry in exposed areas, while the Dern used their BTRs as pseudo-IFVs, running them alongside their T-170 MBTs into the fray. However, this unintended use has exposed the lack of armour of the BTR, for example, in the Yangon Hostage Crisis, several Dern and GSDF BTR-800s were set ablaze by Galactic Moral and Ethic League members armed with stolen DEW-17 anti-materiel laser rifles. In response to this, several aftermarket add-on armour kits were developed by Dern and Moreillian companies, but none was officially adopted.

Notes on Striker IFV:

The Striker IFV is more tank than IFV, or to be precise, it is a full-scale tank with room for infantry. Based on decrypted blueprints of the Israeli Merkava tank, Moreillia Metallurgy developed their own new-generation IFV design using the principle of a tank with front-mounted engines with room left for infantry at the rear. The design uses as many parts of the Sabretooth MBT as possible to improve parts commonality, ease production and simplify logistics, making it, in effect, a rearranged Sabretooth. The two vehicles share the same undercarriage, power pack system (though located differently), and have a 95% parts interchangeability. It is armed with the same 140mm smoothbore cannon as the Sabretooth tank, a side rack of 2 GAM-10 "Garm" missiles gave it some protection against helicopters and a 81mm mortar allows it to provide light fire support to infantry.

The turret ring had to be shrunk in order to accommodate more passengers, which forced the designers to find another way to fit the large 140mm cannon onto the now smaller turret. Eventually they settled on a radical off-set gun configuration, with the gun and auto-loader assembly mounted on the far right of the turret.

Notes on "The Hong Kong Invasion":

This motion hologram was to be an Autumn blockbuster of the year 5301, featuring an all-star cast and full support from the SDF. Actual military hardware were filmed in the making of the movie, and more than 80% of gunfire shown used live ammunition. It was also one of the costliest movies in history, with a budget in excess of 15,000,000 Moreillian Marks. The script of the movie was leaked several weeks before the first showing, however, and immediately received harsh criticism for its unrealistic plot. The movie was thus a box office failure for the first few days of screening, however, after a last-ditch word-of-mouth marketing effort, in which the precious few viewers were publicly interviewed about the movie, things began to change, as cinema-goers were attracted by the reports of masterpiece musical score, brilliant acting, stunning visual effects and the epic scenes of battle, and the box office steadily rose until becoming one of the highest grossing movies of all time, only beaten by the re-imagined "Independence Day". A ultra-high definition re-release in Rainbow-Ray was retitled "Metropolis Under Fire: Hildeburg 5301"

The much argued plot began with a coup led by the police of Hong Kong, a small, financial city on ancient Earth, soon after the Chief Executive elections of 2012. One of the first atrocities of the new police government was the brutal suppression of the 29/7 protests, with one of the most memorable scenes of the movie being a baby in a cart being doused with heavy-strength pepper spray.

Meanwhile, an ancient intersection gate was unearthed outside the Moreillian capital, Hildeburg in 5301. After analysis, it was concluded that the gate was one of the gates that once linked Moreillia to Earth. It was quickly repaired and powered.

Several days later, Moreillian Metropolitan Police received reports of persons claiming themselves to be Hong Kong police arresting citizens in the midcity of Hildeburg. A squad was dispatched to investigate and encountered Hong Kong police officers arresting citizens for disobeying the daily curfew. When told by their Moreillian counterparts that there was no such curfew and that they had no authority to police within Moreillian territory, they immediately opened fire with their service revolvers, killing and wounding most of the Moreillian Police officers. Reinforcements were called for SEK teams, and the Hong Kong police responded with armoured Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans.

It was then revealed the state of Hong Kong has now unilaterally declared all of Moreillia under Hong Kong jurisdiction, and the intersection gate had already been overrun. Sensing the urgency of the crisis, the Moreillian Federal Government authorized the deployment of all branches of the SDF with orders to hold the capital at all costs and repel the invaders.

Despite this, the Hong Kong Police Forces' blitzkrieg had already reached the Moreillian Metropolitan Police HQ, and it was demolished along with all staff by the Special Duties Unit, AKA the Flying Tigers, by placing C-4 on the structural pillars of the building.

With most of the city lost, and only several pockets of resistance remaining, the SDF reinforcements had to fight entrenched Hong Kong policemen in the streets of Hildeburg. A unit of Sabretooth MBTs from the 56th Armoured Division were ambushed and destroyed by Policemen armed with stolen missile launchers.

The other SDF units met fierce resistance as well, as the Hong Kong Police deployed ZTZ-99 MBTs to engage and destroy Moreillian armour, causing heavy casualties. Air support from the MASDF Tabinka Battlegroup relived some of the pressure, but the reluctance to use orbital bombardment on the nation's capital limited the effectiveness of the air support.

The Hong Kong police held off the SDF long enough to encircle the Moreillian defenders to the Moreillian Parliament, where the Federal Government was ordered to surrender. The Prime Minister delivered a speech that refused the demand and called the Moreillians to fight on.

At the occupied parts of the city, Care Hong Kong Power units began the systematic destruction of the capital with flame-throwers and artillery, their goal was to destroy Moreillian morale through destruction of national landmarks and culture. A noteable scene was the burning of the Moreillian National Library.

The Hong Kong police then deployed their secret weapon, an air presence of their own in the form of J-10 and J-20 fighters. They caused extreme damage to the GSDF Divisions and forced them to withhold their advance. The Hong Kong police tanks then moved out and engaged the routed GSDF in open battle, forcing them to retreat.

In the climax of the movie, the MASDF Tabinka and its entire battlegroup descends to atmosphere level and launches all available fighters to destroy the Hong Kong Police air units. The battleship itself executed bombardment runs at the Hong Kong Police tanks, which, caught in the open and without cover, quickly withdrew.

With the way clear, the SDF entered Hildeburg, and proceeded with heavy door-to-door fighting. The MASDF Tabinka moved on to destroy the intersection gate, which was bringing in even more reinforcements from Hong Kong.

The entrapped Hong Kong police units were unable to match the SDF counterattacks, and were either wiped out of surrendered.

The movie ended with a monument erected in front of the Bundestag engraved with the names of the Moreillian civilian and military dead and a memorial service held in their name.

Two sequels were planned after the "Metropolis Under Fire: Hildeburg 5301" (戦火の都会) re-release to form a trilogy. However, the planned filming never materialized due to fear of a poorly-preforming sequel, which plagued many of the Earth-originated movies.

Instead, the story of the two movies were expanded in form of two Multiplayer virtual-reality arcade cabinet games, "Metropolitan Typhoon: Hong Kong 2012" (台風の都会) and "Besieged Metropolis: Beijing 2013" (都会攻略), which detailed the retaliatory Moreillian invasion of Hong Kong, and later, Beijing. The cabinet games boast the same software system used to train real GSDF tank crews, and are now common sights at most Moreillian entertainment arcades.

"Metropolitan Typhoon" featured all vehicles that had appeared in its movie prequel in action at various locales in Hong Kong. It also includes levels set during the events of the invasion of Hildeburg.

"Besieged Metropolis" was released just in time for the formal adoption of the Impeder heavy tank into the GSDF arsenal. It has a greatly expanded vehicle garage, with a wide range of AFVs from the Dern Socialist Republic, Haen Dynasty, Possionite Aggregate, Nasusbrachyura Collective, People's Republic of Sinh, Wilsian Independent States and the ancient Earth nations of African Union, Commonwealth of Nations, Republic of China, People's Republic of China, European Union, Japan, Russian Federation and the United States of America. The game shifted from its more story-oriented predecessor to a stronger focus on gaming quality and experience.

The Copyright Crisis:

The Copyright Crisis of 5314 was sparked over a controversial Copyright Enforcement Bill that enabled both the Wilsian Independent States and any copyright-owner within the WIS to use force to combat copyright infringement outside its national confines, permitting the usage of any legally-acquired weaponry to destroy or otherwise render useless any equipment and persons engaging in copyright infringement. This bill was, to many, drafted against the Federal Republic of Moreillia and its copyright-free policies. The Federal Republic was initially ignorant of the development, believing that the Independent States would not actually take any serious measures to enforce the bill. The RIAW, a consortium of 170 media corporations, was one of the major proponents of the Bill.

This belief continued until the Orange Day on 30 December, 5313. At 1500 hours, operatives from the RIAW planted an anti-matter bomb at the Central Library of Moreillia, where the Earth Memory Core was stored. After making an official statement that the Moreillian Public Library system hosted more than 5000 yottabytes of copyrighted mulitmedia data and according to the newly passed Copyright Enforcement Bill, they were entitled to launch a "Crusade to purge pirates from this galaxy, starting with the privateer state of Moreillia," the bomb was detonated, vaporizing everything within a 1 km radius and causing 5,231 deaths. The Earth Memory Core was, fortunately, carried aboard the battleship MASDF Tabinka during the attack for transport to the new Deco-10 decryption lab on Portstinor, and only a backup copy of the core was destroyed.

The Moreillian Government immediately condemned the attack, stating that "the attack was an act of copyright-terrorism" and declared that "Any attempt to damage or, in any manner, violate the Earth Memory Core would constitute an act of war against the Federal Republic of Moreillia."

The Wilsian Independent States later issued a statement that it had "no intention to violate the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Moreillia." However, it also added that, "The Independent States has the right and duty to enforce the Copyright Enforcement Act where applicable, including areas outside the Independent States."

Tensions rose as the SDF was mobilized to defend various library and data centres within Moreillian space and RIAW armed attacks continued over the next few weeks. The Earth Memory Core was sealed within the MASDF Tabinka for security and the battleship was given an immense escort fleet of 10 other Tabinka Class battleships with their associated battlegroups.

Meanwhile, a 20-ship strong RIAW task force, comprised of Wilsian-built assault frigates, was spotted taking on munitions and crew in the Alster Naval Yards on the planet of Canis. The ASDF was ordered to preempt this task force.

Operation Uhlan was the first combat use of the Lance B.1 bomber, a flight of 7 Lances were equipped with short-range BURST drives and smuggled to the L3 Lagrangian point of Canis on the Lagoon City Class cruiser Akula. The bombers then took off and used conventional drives to reach the planetary atmosphere unnoticed. The bombers were caught on rader too late for interceptors to be scrambled, and the bombing resulted in 7 ships destroyed and the rest damaged too badly to continue combat operations. The bombers escaped pursuers with their BURST drives and returned to the Akula unharmed. The Akula managed to avoid detection and withdrew from Wilsian space with its SLAM drive.

After the January Raid, the RIAW attempted to destroy the ASDF's strategic bombing ability by assaulting several airfields known to operate Lance bombers deep within Moreillian space, in a series of air attacks known as Operation Lancebreaker. They only dealt minimal damage to ASDF facilities and was discontinued quickly.

By early February, new evidence appeared suggesting that the Independent States was giving military and tactical aid to the RIAW. The WIS admitted to this several days later, saying that "obsolete warships and military equipment were provided along with operational training to the RIAW." The WIS was forced to retract this support after an international uproar, and threats from the Planetary Alliance and Federal Republic of Moreillia to boycott all trade and declare war respectively with the WIS.

Remaining RIAW units were forced to fight at a much-reduced capacity, although they continue to engage in minor raids up to this day. Moreillian nationals living near or traveling to the Moreillian-Wilsian border are advised to be cautious and contact local SDF units if any abnormal activity was observed.

The Striker Infantry Fighting Vehicle

Image

The Striker IFV is more tank than IFV, or to be precise, it is a full-scale tank with room for infantry. Based on decrypted blueprints of the Israeli Merkava tank, Moreillia Metallurgy developed their own new-generation IFV design using the principle of a tank with front-mounted engines with room left for infantry at the rear. The design uses as many parts of the Sabretooth MBT as possible to improve parts commonality, ease production and simplify logistics, to the point that it is, in effect, a rearranged Sabretooth. The two vehicles share the same chassis, power pack system (though located differently), and have a 95% parts interchangeability. It is armed with the same 140mm smoothbore cannon as the Sabretooth tank, a side rack of 2 GAM-10 "Garm" missiles gave it some protection against helicopters and a 81mm mortar allows it to provide light fire support to infantry. 10 passengers can enter or exit through an armoured door at the rear.

Due to the special configuration of the 140mm cannon and its coaxial 20mm cannon, spent shell casings were ejected from the side-pod and out of the vehicle. After several cases of injuries caused by shell casings ejected with great force, the auto-loader was reconfigured to drop the spent casing back inside the vehicle using the same chute for fresh rounds. This, however, effectively halved the rate of fire. This was considered acceptable since the intended purpose of the 140mm cannon was infantry support instead of anti-tank like the one mounted on the Sabretooth.

Life and accommodation onboard a Moreillian ship

Military life is never a comfortable one, beyond the blood and sand of the battlefield, a soldier also has to put up with unsanitary field barracks, lack of hygienic supplies, showers may be rare and short, and even food can be a source of nightmares. While advancements in technology has improved this situation, modern military accommodations are still a far cry from civilian households.

The SDF, on the other hand, had rooms and amenities that have been said to be "obscenely luxurious" by many. For example, a non-commissioned officer serving onboard the MASDF Hamburg, a Tabinka Mark V Class battleship, is entitled to a single 4.00m X 5.00m room with its own toiletry facilities furnished in the line of a four-star hotel room instead of bunks. Officers are given larger rooms, and Flag officers and dignitaries usually have a pseudo-stateroom with furnishings of their choice.

All SDF quarters are single but hot-bunking is possible if needed, and they are designed to open into a common area where dining and recreation facilities are available. Uniforms are not required in these areas, and servicemen are encouraged to have an "at-home" attitude.

The two cantonment decks of the Hamburg are located directly "under" the two bridges, which are some of the most well-armoured regions of the battleship, covered by at least 700 metres of heavy armour and hull plating. All rooms have no windows, due to their location, and thus are replaced with 3D-screens linked to several cameras outside the ship.

While the SDF argues that such an arrangement helps fostering a sense of belonging and loyalty, in addition to improving morale, other armed forces agree that this is a waste of resources and worse, weaken the fighting cohesiveness of the units.

The reason a Moreillian ship can afford this degree of comfort ties directly to their military arms-procurement doctrine. While most nations seek to acquire the best in energy-fed weaponry, the SDF has mandated all military arms be Ballistic Chemical Deflagration (BCD) Weapons, which are basically old-styled firearms. This has spared an immense amount of energy from being used to power weapons, and this energy could be used to either power other systems, or improve range and operational time by reducing reactor output and hence, fuel consumption. The Moreillians chose the former, resulting in their ships enjoying superior performance out of their already excellent designs in exchange for a certain perceived decrease in firepower and limited ammunition. Even after overclocking the shields and turbocharging the engines to their safety limits, there is still a great deal of energy left, and so is devoted to life support and other auxiliary systems.

FV 9520/2 Sabretooth 2 Main Battle Tank

The Sabretooth was a capable tank, but even before the first production vehicles had rolled off the factories, an improved version was already approaching its prototype stage. The Sabretooth 2 retains the hull of the original, but the turret is redesigned to accommodate more ammunition, equipment, and a 360-degree CITV similar to the one mounted on the M1A3R6 Abarms. Weight had increased slightly, from 53.4 tonnes to 57.6 tonnes, most of the increase came from additional 140mm rounds, which it now has 60, and the CITV systems, which gave the tank a safe way to survey the surroundings even in battle, and allowed it to perform the duties of the the command variant of the Sabretooth 1, although the camera was somewhat weaker.

The G-6 engine of the original is updated to G-6B standard, giving the Sabretooth 2 an impressive road speed of 73.1 km/h and an off-road speed of 62.4 km/h, making it the fastest tracked tank in the galaxy.

Owing to its similarity with the American M1A3 Abarms, Sabretooth 2 tanks were used to replace the M1 series of tanks in defector US Army/Marine divisions and were deployed to great effect along with GSDF-operated Sabretooth 2s against M1A3 Abarms of the (Unrecognised by the Federal Republic of Moreillia) Republic of Gilead during what was known as the Gilead Calamity.

Image
Weaponry was unchanged, the device above the main gun is a Daltax 12 Directional radar/rangefinder that is standard for all GSDF tanks.

Image
The Sabretooth 2 can be fitted with extra armour plates in the field, which slows it down by several km/h but adds much-needed protection against plasma and particle weapons.

The M4A1 scandal

Moreillian arms technology is heavily reliant on ancient Earth designs, and for a considerable period of Moreillian military history, wars were fought with mainly Earth-developed weapon designs recovered from the Earth Memory Core, and innovations by the Moreillians were relatively limited and minor, mostly manifesting as alterations and additions to the original Earth designs.

One of the most common weapons that can be found in Moreillian space is a tried-and-true Earth design, the American M4A1 carbine. More commonly known as the "Deluge Gun", they are available in practically infinite numbers, and, through sale, gifting and donations, has become the single most common firearm in the galaxy.

The nickname of this weapon was originated from a statement from the Moreillian SDF arms-procurement office, "The [M4A1] carbine has deluged our armouries." Following the excessively inflated production run of the weapon. In only two years of production, more than six trillion M4A1 carbines were somehow produced by only four medium-sized arms production complexes on Tabinka, far more than the original order of 200,000 carbines, the managers of the plants nor the workers could account for this, and a thorough investigation had revealed no clue as to how this had happened.

Surprisingly, the excessively-produced weapons were all of excellent quality, and for almost four decades, the M4A1 and its variants were the standard-issue sidearm and rifle of all SDF personnel. Problems arose when the M4A1 was to be retired, and the new R-9 automatic battle rifle was to be adopted by the SDF. There was no way to dispose of the excess M4A1s, and arms warehouses were already overflowing with the carbines. Even after several years of sale and donations, there was still at least 5.3 trillion M4A1s in Moreillia. Plans were drafted to recycle the high-grade metals in these carbines but even that wasn't sufficient to reduce its numbers significantly. Eventually, all the M4A1s that could be found were rounded up and thrown into the Tabinkan star.

The action was estimated to have destroyed at least 5 trillion carbines, but to the dismay of the SDF, hidden caches of M4A1s were discovered afterwards along with at least another 3 trillion of them found in Moreillian storehouses. To this date, large batches of M4A1s are still regularly recovered and the Moreillians are still trying to find out exactly how many of them exist in the galaxy.

The sheer despair could be best captured in the comments of an anonymous armourer, "We get rid of one crate of them, and two more pop up in a warehouse somewhere. It's a never-ending nightmare."

Okay. I have been inactive for a while, since I have my university studies and have gone over to the Star Citizen forums to root for the new game (you should too if you have time). At the meantime, I have expanded this universe considerably, at least in the backstory department. Therefore I am announcing a re-launch of the mod under than name "The Moreillian Chronicles: A Prejudiced Galaxy". I envision the 100% completed version of this mod will be a TC of transcendence, with several new single-player adventures. But ship-pack modules will be released as they are completed for the sake of fun and enjoyment.

Of course, given the incredible amount of resources required and the lack of time on my part, I do not expect this mod to be done in a jiffy. In fact, a realistic estimate would be at least two full years. But if we don't start, we'll never reach the end. Therefore, if anyone would like to lend a hand in art, coding, 3D-modelling and texturing (I can supply rudimentary designs in 3D or drawings), please post here or PM me. I will for now focus on drafting background stories, ship settings, general information and lore, and think of several storylines.

Ships database:

The People's Republic of Mak'Tzi People's Space Navy (this nation replaces the Sinh in form and function)

The Mak Navy boasts the largest numbers in the galaxy, it has 1,550,000 capital warships, nearly twice the rest of the galaxy has combined. However, their vessels and equipment are designed for rapid mass-production, giving them extremely poor quality but making losses easily replaceable.

A common flaw in their ship designs is the highly exposed engine and poorly-defended aft arcs. Mak ships concentrate all weapons to the forward arc, leaving all other arcs exposed. Their inefficient engine technology forced them to use extremely large drive blocks to power their ships, aggravating the problem of a defenceless rear.

O-13 Tactical Fighter (WIS Reporting Name: Plaster) (MASDF Reporting Name: Jian)
A moderately armed and armoured spaceborne fighter. Widely exported to poorer nations, warlords and anyone else who can afford them. It is extremely popular with pirates, mercenaries, freelancers and civilians. Decidedly inferior to the Starflare FGR.27.

Yu'Feng Class Frigate (WIS Reporting Name: Frederic) (MASDF Reporting Name: Xinxiang)
Cheap frigate designed for mass-production. It has a pair of Z-4 medium laser cannons on a forward swivel mount and a quad Z-1 light laser cannon turret for rear defence installed behind the bridge. Over 1,000,000 were produced.

Piu'Chu Class Destroyer (WIS Reporting Name: Derrick) (MASDF Reporting Name: Jingan)
Medium-sized capital ship, usually leads packs of frigates in patrols.

Du'Yu Class Cruiser (WIS Reporting Name: Carrack) (MASDF Reporting Name: Shinyang)
Heavier capital ship for massed assaults in groups of 100 or more.

Shi'La Class Battleship (WIS Reporting Name: Basilisk) (MASDF Reporting Name: Norinco)
Heavy capital warship, equipped for mid-long range bombardment and substantial protection. Known to terrorize neighbouring small nations and systems in groups. Nicknamed the "Fat Housewife" by the Planetary Alliance Amalgamated Armada. Becoming obsolete from the introduction of the Tabinka Class HCBC, which shielding and armour can deflect 80% of the ship's weapons.

Yik'Hei Class Battleship (WIS Reporting Name: Ballista) (MASDF Reporting Name: Prodigy)
New battleship constructed with stolen Moreillian, Planetary Alliance and WIS technology. Armed with copied Possionite heavy particle cannons and a VLS missile system based on Moreillian designs, in addition of standard laser weaponry. It also is equipped with a unique robotic security system (RSS) which enables it to operate autonomously under a series of pre-set instructions. It is protected by a composite armour very similar to the TSI composite plating of the Tabinka Class HCBC.

Xin'Don Class Carrier (WIS Reporting Name: Vesta) (MASDF Reporting Name: Xiamen)
4,500 metre-long carrier capable of carrying at least 1,000 small craft. Largest ship in the Mak fleet, command is often reserved for favoured individuals. Usually protected by a battleship cordon of at least 50 vessels.

Examples of WIS reporting Names:

Similar to NATO reporting names, the WIS reporting name nomenclature assign names according to the type of the vessel and matches it to a random word starting with a particular alphabet.

Fighters: P
Attackers/Bombers: A
Frigates: F
Cruisers: C
Battleships: B
Carriers: V
Transport: T
Other: Varied

Sometimes, a theme would be given to ships of a particular nation, for example, Moreillian ships are assigned names of defensive constructs and fortifications, this is not a mandatory rule, though:

Starflare FGR.27 (WIS Reporting Name: Ultra Flanker) (exception)

Takov Class MCMRC (WIS Reporting Name: Casemate)

Unyielding Mk VII Class HCFAC (WIS Reporting Name: Bulwark G)

Tabinka Mk V Class HCBC (WIS Reporting Name: Breakwater E)

Wirbelsturm Auge Class Supercarrier (WIS Reporting Name: Viscountess) (exception)

The BTR-800/FV 8520 Battle TRansport:

Image

The results of a cooperative Dern-Moreillian effort to develop an all-terrain APC, the BTR-800 is a vehicle designed to satisfy two vastly different combat philosophies: The Dern doctrine of rapidly deploying entrenched infantry to hold strategic points taken with heavy armour and the Moreillian combined-arms principle of having armour and motorized infantry support each other in combat. With a capacity of 3 crewmen and 10 passengers, it can provide adequate transportation of personnel to and from the front lines. The GSDF variant is armed with a 20mm Hispano autocannon, two 12.7mm machine guns, and optional Garm missile pods which gives it good firepower for a vehicle of its size, while the Dern Army variant is armed with a deadly Cermak-70 plasma gun, allowing it to be used as an infantry fire support platform in addition to a transport.

Locales of Moreillia:

Capital Defence Magnetic Acceleration Cannon Battery "Arcohalo"

A circular ring of thirty 250m superheavy magnetic acceleration assisted gyrojet surface-to-aerospace cannons. It forms the last line of defense for the capital city of Hildeburg. It has never been fired in battle, but testing of prototypes showed it can produce gigantic sonic booms lethal to aircraft, as the colossal 2,500 ton shells they fire reach the speed of sound. Making it an area-of-effect weapon in addition to a massive kinetic penetration weapon. When in standby mode, all cannons point vertically upwards, forming what is called the "Crown of Moreillia".

White Sands Air Force Base:

The most important airbase of the Federal Republic due to its close proximity to the capital, Hildeburg. The elite 826th Tactical Aerospace Squadron "Fafnir" is permanently assigned to this base. In addition, four other ASDF squadrons are rotated in half-year assignments to reinforce the capital's air defence.

Joint Naval Aerospace Station Sonnet Bay:

Situated next to Sonnet Bay, one of the largest bays in the galaxy, Sonnet Bay AFB boasts a staggering 14 runways, arranged in parallel. Runways no. 13 and 14 are designed for capital craft landings, while the rest of the runways have the unique arrangement of odd numbers for fighter craft and even numbers for heavy transport or bomber craft.

Lagoon City Aerospace Launching Facility:

Lagoon City is an underwater city located at the centre of the Gold Chain Lagoon. Hosting the last planet-based starship integration facility of Moreillia, it is famous for having its own professional team of shipwrights and aeronautical engineers producing unique aqua-atmosphere-space capable designs such as the Swordfish class, Valiant Class and the eponymous Lagoon City Class capital craft.

The Scarred Sands:

A stretch of strangely charred rocks and black glass in the Tannlasa Desert. It is widely believed to be an ancient battlefield. For centuries it had been a training site for the MGSDF and its predecessor, the Moreillian Royal Army. Recently, a buried ancient temple was discovered and all military activity was suspended for archaeologists to conduct their research.

The Marlow Valley:

A deep valley long dried out, ancient tales told this was the "heart of an ancient horror". Such rumours had been long dismissed and the centuries-old Fortress Conrad was built to practically "dam" the valley, barring any unwelcome entry on the ground.

The Tabinka Defence Perimeter:

A sphere of sensors, defence platforms and remotely-detonated mines approximately 30 light-seconds in diameter, the TDP is the reason why Tabinka is touted to be an impenetrable fortress. The Perimeter is constantly patrolled by units of the 1st Tabinkan Air Fleet, the only aerospace unit Tabinka was allowed to posses as state-owned after its defeat at the hands of the two other Moreillian states during the Cometfall War.
