Location: Hmm... I'm confused. Anybody have a starmap to the Core?

Here's a link to for the Star Network public beta. It has a lot of environment and setting~ish written down but all I have to do is polish gameplay and interactions with the game world (which was a lot harder than expected).

Right now procedurally generated sovereigns spawn and some fighting goes on, but not much flavor is really there yet. I plan on expanding on this in the future but I'd like to get some feedback as it is right now.

 So, after picking a ship (one of mine, admittedly, because biased) and clicking OK, I saw this:

 I even tested it a couple of times to make sure it wasn’t just a random one-time glitch.
 The equipment replacement was kind of neat, but it only switched out my forward armor segment for some reason? Furthermore, I had approximately eleventeen kerzillionty tons of assorted reactors and armor segments packed into my cargo hold — quite a feat, considering that the ship I was using has a capacity of 25 tons! Also, if you’re going to give someone a new shiny new reactor to start the game off, it would be nice to gas up the tank for them. I ran out of fuel just flying inward from the tutorial sign to take a look at the inner system.

The blurring at the right is the result of a missing prologue background. In the base game, the background is the Sapphire leaving Starton Eridani.

Yeah, I am procedurally generating ALL items in the game so I installed them on the playership just to make sure they work properly. The game is pretty empty at the moment since all I have are star systems, a topology, and basic Dynamic Systems working in the background. When I get to it I will start expanding faction types (like the Republic Faction type, etc) and add in a mission framework + economy system so things become more "alive".

I am looking forward to suggestions though (preferrably easy please since school is still on! >.<)

Haha

In 3 years the mighty RPC could not figure out the bug, but the unassuming AP figured it out in a few months of coding. PRICELESS!

 No no, I just pointed it out and put up a screenshot of it. Credit goes to PM for the fix.

Well I tried it. It doesn't seem to work. When you press start game, the rings will start, and then the game will freeze. Running the newest version of Trans.

Ok, when the rings are spinning try and press a key and see if that will initialize the game. You also have to wait for ~30 seconds to ~1 minute for the universe to generate as well.
