yes, I finally chose a Production name for #12

I was getting to the part where I was going to built the main part of the Adventure when a glitch in my mouse started to show up and since the game does not give error messages for adventures like it does for extensions : I had to rip everything out and start adding stuff back in until it loaded

So, I am now back to where I was three days ago : I have to dock and test and make sure the screens are working.....the ships are flying well, #12 has been around for a long time, I have no fears over the ships, just the missions and stations screens that I want..

THEN I can get back to building the entire point of the Adventure ....

I changed Eridani with a small Drama Plot in mind,Don't worry :
The player is just as safe in Eridani as they have always been.

you will find changes for giving missions :
you will meet 127 : gives missions.
you will meet Rouge Spark : gives Missions.
You will meet Nelaedra Lavalle, she has a mission ( not paid )
Nelaedra Lavalle is part of the Drama Plot that takes place later in the game.
And she has a very special Item that could save your ship in the face of an unstoppable enemy,
if not your life ...

Using a source management system can help avoid situations like that where you lose several days of work due to a bug introduced in.. something that you cant figure out what it was- if you commit regularly, you'll be able to see what changes you recently made and try moving back along your commits (because it will record what changes you made, allowing yourself to reverse them) until you get it working again. Then you can go back to where you were, reverse the commit that broke things (or perhaps just reversing the change by hand), and continue on.

Thank You , Wolfy.

I did pull in a Back-up system to back up my normal back-up system which obviously failed me :) so my .xml now gets backed up by two different programs at different intervals ( often catching me off guard because I will do something and suddenly find I don't have to save it :) it's already saved and reversible if I messed up )

so it has saved me a ton of grief.

As for the mouse : some canned Air and a quick beating on the table top : it work fine now.
Sometimes they forget who is the boss.

I have advanced the .xml back to an Adventure now that I got all my stuff into it : I am just trying to play it and sort out text, spelling mistakes and totally horrible stuff I thought looked like a code.
:)

****************
I was Alerted to a glitch in the Sung Slave Camp : I had attempted to fix something but seemed to have made it worse....

Should be fixed now.

*********************************

I will probably return to the Slave Camp again later for the next time I do an .xml : I really don't like the Sung killing slaves just because the player or whom-ever shows up.

But being as the slaves are a different Sov....
it's "complicated" without using a direct steal of the FFAS which I won't do..
so I have to do it the hard way ....bend the universe..:)
