(Resurfacing) New ship in the works!

Well, it's been a while. The last time I came here the forum background was still black! Real life have been a serious issue for the past year or so, but things have eased off enough for me to continue gaming and making stuff, so to celebrate, here is my newest battleship design. If people are interested I will get around making a spritesheet, though I see that the game scales have changed completely, so I may need a new scale and style reference guide.

 Good to see you back around. ^.^

 Very nice looking ship, that, yeah. Just for note, the current de facto standard is 120 facings nowadays if/when you do sprite it up. Not sure if that was the case when you were last around.

 As for scale, the relevant post by George is here. Or for easier reference:

size(pixels) = 5 * size(meters)^(0.68)
size(meters) = [size(pixels)/5]^(1/0.68)

Honestly the textures you're using here don't look half-bad. I'd definitely err on the side of simpler rather than more complex textures, since the mesh itself provides plenty of visual complexity. One or two material colors for the hull (base hull color plus decal?), one or two for engines, turrets, and other greebles, and maybe some running lights.
