First off, I have yet to figure out where I am going to fit in the Hummingbird.. but that's not important.....

As everyone that ever looked at my horrible .xml knows, I am infatuated with traffic control :)

So,
What IS important right now is that my initial instinct to over-write something because I saw a "lacking" ( in my opinion at the time) was later cut short by my realizing I once used to be good at turning great ideas bad with little effort... so I think I got into it again... :) LOL

It is my observation and opinion that Private crafts on this table cause the majority of traffic issues with some stations that have very limited docking ports.

The SECOND issue with traffic is the guards and the reinforcements of guards being a little too much on these same stations with persistent traffic issues due to ports available.

Soooo...I have been dealing with some of the guard issues : and the impact has been Great on traffic flow for some Corporate stations, especially those stations without guards because it gives them guards :)

However - the Bane of my code is , naturally the #1 Traffic Issue : The Armor Station.
We have all been there , escorting a Freighter and there isn't enough docking ports because traffic or guards are hogging up space ...

Ok, so I Restored the Old Atonement & it's buddy but gave them to the Sisters of Domina since the Cult has New Ships : However, to make it work somebody had to be re-named.....
The name adjustments I came up w/ sounded too hostile for the Sisters, so I applied the new names to the New Cult Ships.

I decided the DSV Hummingbird will be a Carrier ....But Exactly what else, I am working on it..
To add to the confusion I am building a Corporate Fleet ....just for the missions....
The only thing I am settled on right now is the DSV Titan will fly in 1.7
The DSV Titan is a version of the Task Force ....slightly unbalanced missions ..
but I am working on toning them down ..sorta ..

While editing the missions for the Titan I noticed that "somebody" obviously knew many experienced players wanted more of a challenge ...just the .xml of those missions makes me want a better shield then what I usually like to carry by the time I meet the CSC ships.

Anyway, I got the Titan & Hospital ship set up ;
the Hummingbird so far is just a boat in space with nothing but dock services while I try to sort out some mission ideas.

the thing is, the DSV ships will give the player a distraction from the routine CSC missions....however,
Had I not suggested in the original post that Hummingbird would be a ship, I could have been taking a nap instead of sitting here trying not to over power the player on mission.

I did do some Over-writes that I thought were a good idea for the purpose of the extension & the ideas I had for 1.7 to be slightly more action, commerce and opportunities to explore the 20 things to do in Transcendence ....Which, actually , I think is much more then 20 if the player has Corporate Command or other additions to the game ( not to mention Mods ) . the Universe comes alive..

So, it's posted....
I admit that many players are hesitant because I have had some very violent games playing over here :

But the changes to the effects & damage charts - I tried to use in the favor of the extension to make it a nice Challenge.

I was told that newer players are not phased by the current ways of the game because they don't know much else of the older versions & those older versions on the WIKI page have never been fixed ......which leads me to think there is an Ares Clone among us.......

or maybe it's one of the Omnithor Foundation types ....I don't know...

but when a Hostile station ignores the player's guns in BA and repairs itself.......
there is a spy in the corporation.

Anyway, I did not go for big battles or super deadly ships ( mostly ) and I think you will be proud I was restrained from my usual very bad ideas.
