I had my 100W reactor upgraded to 120W at the university. When I got it upgraded to a 150W at the black market shipyard the 100W +Enhanced reactor went to my cargo hold and the new reactor now says 150NX reactor at 180W... The ship view shows it's a 150 +Enhanced.

in other words i think you are saying the enhancement passed to the new device?

It did not transfer to the 250 though.

Hmm, are you sure the reactor wasn't enhanced at the store? Sometimes they show up like that

The reactor wasn't bought from the trading area it was upgraded in docking services.

did you casually refuelled your reactor with Heliotrope fuel ?

I refuled at the station before leaving.
