Ok, so a did a little test to confirm what Transgeek was saying on IRC and OnEnable doesn't work. I don't know what kind of special hoops I have to go through for it to pull through, but OnDisable works flawlessly while OnEnable does not.
Just to make sure, does OnEnable works when a device is installed and is enabled through the "B" menu? I'm pretty sure it should.

This thread isn't that old and it's still a problem so I'm resurrecting it. RPC and I (re?) discovered this issue and I confirmed it in 1.08g, the <OnEnable> events are not firing as expected from the menu nor as part of <OnInstall> events.

RPC is likely making a ticket for me, thanks again buddy! :D
