If you're logged into the transcendence multiverse, you currently can't play as a differently named character*. it just reverts back to your username when you start the game.
....that or "Otto Tgolsvart, Gentleman Explorer!" is too awesome for the system to handle.
*this may or may not be true. I've heard from others that it might work, but the game did reject my naming, so I'm pretty sure there's a bug lurking in there.

the username should be based on the account: If Shrike has an account and it is auto login : Otto will get pushed to the curb.
