Trans v.1.08L bug?: Korolov Escort Mission Double Promotion

I almost forgot to tell this when I played it with WE5 & New Playerships. I was successfully promoted twice as a Journeyman & twice Master by the Korolov Directors and yes I received two ROMs (1 visual enhancement and 1 targeting ROMs) & 2 class V shields. Is this a bug or is it normal?
