Mission doesnt recgonize stations as killed

Location: Somewhere in the Frontier on a Hycrotan station, working on new ships.

From what I was told the mission was to destroy a couple of stations but they were not registered as being destroyed

I had this a couple of times, always wondered if it was due to friendly fire or a wingman.

also might it have something to do with ships attacking dead stations?
