I had mentioned this problem some time back where my ship for some reason was being hidden by a CSC. It's happened again in this version.
I think it may have something to do with the CSC being ionized. It had that static ion lightning on it and was firing all funny and ever since then my ship image goes behind the CSC image.

The ship flies under the CSC. The problem goes away if you save and reload.

I can totally reproduce this.
Just shoot a CSC until it does mad. Then try to fly over it, and the playership will fly under it instead.
also
all traffic ships coming out of a stargate will render over the playership
but they get fixed when they dock with a station.
