How to obtaining the ship reactors; also the military
Unless the fuel is a longzhu sphere. Of course, spheres have a better use than as fuel.

In the later systems their quite common and are pretty easy to deal with, you can actually get quite a few useful items without needing to use the order button.ThePrivateer wrote:Ah! That's the thing!sdw195 wrote:there called Corporate trading post TPThePrivateer wrote:
BTW, have you encountered one of those Commonwealth Place-Your-Order shops?
Complete mental blank you know! Anyway, those places are gold if you get them -- buy you only get to use the Order function once in that system!. So don't waste it on 50 missiles you can buy elsewhere, use it selectively and it can save your game! (It really has saved my bacon more than once).

Yep, that's a great way of making cash -- I even go as far as installing a larger cargo hold so I can carry all the heavy ore/gas.Drako Slyith wrote:I mostly use them for selling ferian ore and chronium gas before the ringers appear.

See, I'm not a genocidal maniac when dealing with Ferians. I do sell the ore the targets leave behind. It's like a bonus!

Yeah -- if you're careful, all you have to do is tick off the Ferrian Warriors and then play hide-and seek in the asteroid belts -- ore galore!!! Then, lead the warriors over to CWealth Fortress, which promptly destroys the enemies and you can go back and get all the ore the warriors' plasma torches created!Drako Slyith wrote:See, I'm not a genocidal maniac when dealing with Ferians. Heh, I found that if I ranked up with the military enough, the prices in the Armory kept going down. So I had a game where a Commonwealth Fortress spawned in the same system as 3 Black Markets. When you reach Colonel and the market hasn't been flooded yet, your buying price for military equipment is at least 4k-8K credits less than the selling price to the black market. ^_^
