Does any type of station(s) pay a decent price for undamaged, enemy manufactured (Centauri, Urak, Sung, Dwarg, etc.. ) arms and/or armor?

Except for illegal items (eg. Actinide Waste cannons) which I sell at Black Market stations, no one seems to pay more than a small percentage of the base value. It's so bad that I can for example get more for a damaged Claw cannon at a Tinker's station, than for an undamaged one anywhere else.

Thanks for responding. :)

I'd already spent a lot of time looking at that page, but the percentage of base value that it shows the various stations buy at only seems to hold true for Commonwealth manufactured weapons & armor. In practice, I've yet to find a station that pays much over 10% of base value for enemy manufactured weapons or armor.

For some inexplicable reason notforsale stuff, rather than being premium priced for their rarity in the marketplace go for pennies on the dollar.

So the notforsale attribute makes any item commercially worthless?

OK, I guess that means I should quit looking for a better market and just dump the stuff cheap, or save it to feed to the Teraton Fabricator. Seems a shame though, since some of the stuff is actually pretty useful.

Thanks Atarlost. :)

It should only be a problem in the credit economy. Teratons don't care and will pay the same secondhand price for anything they buy at all.

That's encouraging. Thanks again!
