Does any type of station(s) pay a decent price for undamaged, enemy manufactured (Centauri, Urak, Sung, Dwarg, etc.. ) arms and/or armor?
Except for illegal items (eg. Actinide Waste cannons) which I sell at Black Market stations, no one seems to pay more than a small percentage of the base value. It's so bad that I can for example get more for a damaged Claw cannon at a Tinker's station, than for an undamaged one anywhere else.
Selling prices of enemy manufactured arms & armor.

I'd already spent a lot of time looking at that page, but the percentage of base value that it shows the various stations buy at only seems to hold true for Commonwealth manufactured weapons & armor. In practice, I've yet to find a station that pays much over 10% of base value for enemy manufactured weapons or armor.

So the notforsale attribute makes any item commercially worthless?Atarlost wrote:For some inexplicable reason notforsale stuff, rather than being premium priced for their rarity in the marketplace go for pennies on the dollar.
OK, I guess that means I should quit looking for a better market and just dump the stuff cheap, or save it to feed to the Teraton Fabricator. Seems a shame though, since some of the stuff is actually pretty useful.
Thanks Atarlost.

That's encouraging. Thanks again!Atarlost wrote:It should only be a problem in the credit economy. Teratons don't care and will pay the same secondhand price for anything they buy at all.
