Congratulations IceMephit! I'm in my end-game in 1.05 and restarted 1.01 (for the 8th time I think). I have had troubles with 1.04 so I envy you for finishing it. :D

Nice! One thing I notice about completed games though:
Profit on arms 1,123,692
Profit on goods and materials 146,012
Profit on luxury goods 38,733
The profit on arms vastly outnumbers profit on goods& lux combined.
This makes me feel bad because the Pilgrim is technically a floating arms dealer now! :(
Also, it shows that the game has no other viable alternatives to arms dealing. This is especially prevalent during late game, where Teratons only accept weapons, and Ringer rins from ores vastly is outmoded by the Teratons.

yes and i enjoy the mining and such but I think the subject is that the game needs more Pilgrim related items to be valuable to colonization, I think by the time you get near the end you loose the concept of "fly" and turn into a War Machine and the game is promoting this.....But I should talk, I just made a ship go kill stuff.......

Well, you know from the very start that you need to get past the Iocrym, since it's mentioned that they're forming a blockade against Human Space. Not only that, but you're constantly going into pirate space or into war zones. You know full well what you're getting into (from a story perspective), and you will do what is necessary to bypass those obstacles.

Uhm.. Icemephit can you tell me how you managed to play this version without getting stuck? I also play it with the Official Patch Beta 104 but I still get stuck in docking like the other night I played and I was trapped in a Commonwealth Dry dock Interior screen. I have to reboot the PC just to get the f==k out of the game. Anybody care to help me out?

Hi Erik,

I can second IceMephit's suggestion to look at any mods you might be using. A Mod that makes a new upgrade or service available at existing stations, rather than just at a new type of station created by the modder, could be the culprit. I think that's because the modder has to overwrite at least part of the standard dock screen code in order to do that. I've run into this with a few different mods and the error I get when trying to exit the dock screen always says something about a missing "Binding Symbol"

I had this problem again just yesterday playing 1.05 with PM's great "Reactors Pack 912" mod. Everything went along fine 'til I docked at a CSC and couldn't exit the "Dock Services" screen. It turned out to be my fault because I was using an older version of the mod with the latest version of the game. :oops: Loading the latest version of the mod eliminated the problem, but I had to abandon the game I was playing and start a new one in order to do that.

If the method IceMephit suggests to kill the game doesn't work for you (the task manager box doesn't pop-up inside the game), try alt+Tab to switch to another window and then hit Ctrl+Atl+Del to bring up the task manager box, select Transcendence from the task list and hit End Task button to shut down the game.

Thank you guys for the advise but one more thing CTRL+ALT+DEL actually shuts down the game thus it would count as another resurrection right?
I suspect the Flamberg Mercenaries Guild and Excalibur Arms might be the culprit. I've restarted 105 with those mods and it tends to slow down on highly "populated" systems topographies. :(

In my experience it usually does, and restarts you back at your last save (either your last jump gate or the last time you exited the game normally, whichever was more recent). :cry:

But when I did it 'cause I was stuck in a dock screen (couldn't exit the Dock Services menu in the CSC), when I restarted the game I was right back outside the CSC I' gotten stuck in and didn't get dinged for a resurrection. :mrgreen: This sounds a lot like your situation, so I'm hopeful that it'll turn out the same way for you.
