Is there a way to fix this?
So, I just was at one of the games corporate stations (whatever they're called, where you can order things) and I ordered 4 solar panel arrays. I waited, the ship arrived, I docked with the station again, checked and accepted the order. Then, they didn't appear in my inventory. No idea what happened, I had enough cargo room. They just aren't there. Now, was kinda lookin forward to those, and it used my order for that station. Is there a save game editor, or an extension that allows you to generate specific items to pick up in game? I don't wanna cheat really, just want what I was trying to buy.

that way, once told: dozens of players will launch ships to the Corporate Trading Posts to test your experiences and try to reproduce it.
Personally I have ordered alot of things, but never solar panels. but i usually either have it ( normal game ) or

Shane, I appreciate the reply, and the welcome.
I'm playing version 1.07a, and it's completely vanilla. I already had 1 solar panel, but kinda wanted more. Grabbed a 150 mw reactor, and now I'm tearing through fuel at an uncanny rate, kinda wanted to be able to starcamp when needed.

Solar panels recharge too slowly for anything much more than starting reactors. For best recharging, you want all four armor segments solar. However, solar armor is fragile past early game. A powerful shield, a cowardly playstyle, high top speed, and possibly Domina powers are required to make this strategy work.
There are other ways to get cheap or free fuel later in the game.

PM, I know solar panels aren't quick, trust me. As is, i have to sit on a star, turn off everything, and go have lunch if I want to implement my one. I was mainly wanting 2 or 3 installed so that I could sit on a star and not lose fuel while I let my spiderbots repair my armor. As is, whatever money I gain in free repairs, I lose in fuel cost.

Did they give you a message that the freighter carrying your item was destroyed? They say "your purchase was not ensured" when you don't have the option to ensure anyways :/
You have to find the freighter's wreck and look in the cargo hold. Look at the stargates and trace a path to both of them to look for the wreck.

if you want to get them back, you can install cheat codes and launch the game in debug mode get the items/money back and leave debug mode so you can't just use the codes at will,
for you next game you could try my other mod Corporate Trading Post v2 which allows you to escort your order, get Korolov to escort it, or insure it with Clavius Insurance Conglomerate i would ignore that till i update it to work with 1.08, unless your playing 1.01, then it should work fine
