If there's a place to get military and illegal equipment, it is no doubt the black market.

Here's a way to loot all of it without the need to earn money....

NOTE: It is Nessecery to have a level IV or V shields and the ones resistant to blast damage are even more ideal

1. Target the black market and start firing on it, this will lead to the molotok bounty hunters to start attacking you with their MAG's and dragonfly missile systems but they won't attack if you place yourself on the centre of the station and attack it.

2. Keep firing until the damage is 95-99%

3. Here is a little bit tricky part. Go a little outwards from the centre of the station and this will make the bounty hunter to fire if you're in front of it. The moment it fires, either evade it or go towards the centre of the station again, this will increase the damage of the station leaving you unaffected.

4. Keep repeating step 3 until the station blasts then have a good loot from the wreck. This won't affect your rank in the black market because you have only attacked it while it has been blasted by the bounty hunters so the station did was prevented access. you can freely dock to another station to buy or sell goods. But be aware of the bounty hunters they will be after you until you die so you can apply step 3 on a commonwealth station again so that you have a clean slate.

5. What's left to read huh? happy looting :D

This can backfire if you need Black Market stations to sell your excess loot (e.g., SN2500 reactors from Huari and Ventari wrecks) to them, due to buying limits. Black Market has unlimited credits (but will not buy items worth more than 100,000 credits), but they abide by the same obnoxious buying limits as other stations.

This is like blowing up the Sisters of Domina in Eridani. Seems like a good idea at the start of the game for free loot, until you need the Sisters later in the game to exploit Pilgrim's Aid.
Download and Play in 1.9 beta 1...
Drake Technologies (Alpha): More hardware for combat in parts 1 and 2!
Star Castle Arcade: Play a classic arcade game adventure, with or without more features (like powerups)!
Playership Drones: Buy or restore exotic ships to command!

Other playable mods from 1.8 and 1.7, waiting to be updated...
Godmode v3 (WIP): Dev/cheat tool compatible with D&O parts 1 or 2.

that's right but one doesn't get Sn2500 reactors undamaged. I find 1 in a 10 chance to get that...

Players who can access the fabricator will fix that, but even without that, player can still grind for hours for many reactors and other military loot, such as Ventari's orthosteel armor. My point is people who grind pinata enemies for hours will have a gigantic pile of loot, and will need places to sell it for cash. Black Market stations are the best place to sell military items for credits. Other places have limited credits and cannot buy more than a few before running out of cash, regardless of other buying limits. Black Market never runs out of cash.

Credits regenerate over time. Kinda slowly, perhaps, but if you're sad enough to grind for hours, that's not such an issue.

The problem with limited credits, regardless of regeneration rate, is you cannot sell big ticket items (such as military reactors) in bulk, and thus, get stung by buying limits after you sell an item or two. This is one reason why selling military trash to Black Market for credits is great. The other reason is Black Market pays 95% market price for military items, higher than any other station.

Grinding for items for hours in Transcendence is tame compared to grinding for days just to get adequate (not necessarily the best) gear and/or XP in various online games. Don't get me wrong, grinding is a chore.
