Ingenuity doesn't work so far

Hi guys,

I have tried to use Ingenuity about 10 times now, to no avail. Is it something you guys find you have to continually try to use to get enhancements?

There is a small chance it will not work at all. Otherwise, it will pick a random device or armor segment installed on your ship then try to enhance it. If the item chosen is already enhanced, Ingenuity will also fail.

Ingenuity really hates devices for some reason... when using it with armor there is a decent chance of getting an enhancement but with devices it seems much much lower.

So if I uninstall all devices, then it will have only armour and weapons to choose from, and in that case will more likely do something?

Ingenuity picks a random item type (e.g., weapon, shield, armor, engine, etc.), then a random item among that type. Removing devices would only improve your chances if they were enhanced the begin with.
