Fortunately, that's pretty easily counteracted by a longzhu sphere as soon as those become common.TheLoneWolf wrote:I got corporate command for the manticore and now its -20% off any shield i use :'(

I know, but, still! Why wouldnt George give a 20% armour reduction to the Sapphire for being so delicate!

The sapphire does have an armour reduction; it only supports 6 ton segments. Compared to the other vanilla ships, that at least a 50% reduction.TheLoneWolf wrote:I know, but, still! Why wouldnt George give a 20% armour reduction to the Sapphire for being so delicate!

The intent is for the player to use the repairer and additional segments in lieu of a shield. This makes fighting enemies that severely outpower you virtually impossible due to the low speed of the ship, but the intention is solid.TheLoneWolf wrote:Woah! My my! Wolfen ftw.

Thanks!TheLoneWolf wrote:Low speed? The manticore is not that slow mate! Btw cheers for your highscore!
The speed is low for a playership without an engine. With an engine, it's probably much more usable, but I've yet to test this.

Nah mate its the best playership out there try it. It has the viciousness of the Wolfen and the upgradability of the Sapphire. It has more cargo space too.
