I finally got the geek! Flying in circles around him (with the inertialess drive), I cut him down with the 3-way-ion-omni-thing enhanced at 150%, alternating by charging at him the other weapon, that Longzhu one. Once the shield came down, carving him up was a piece of pie. Took about 10 minutes from start to destruction.

After throwing chips in their eyes, I boarded their ridiculous craft, demanded reimbursements, stole all their armour, ammunition and girly magazines and laughed soundly at any possibly wounded survivors, and then I cut a track back to the previous system.

NOBODY messes with THE CARDINAL! Moo hoo ha ha.

I just finished him off for the second time, took about two minutes, tops.

Used a +150% IM90, and an optimised Lamplighter.

I got an intact alien device weighing 100tons from the wreck. Is there any place you can install it?

I think that's the Iocrym Healer. I don't believe any station can install it.
If a Ringers' Shipyard can't, I don't think anybody can.
