I think I'm doing something stupid here, but I cannot get either of my two colonised worlds to import to the other. I have managed to set up a traderoute from one to my homeworld, but every time I try to import to a colony, all the stars on the map are greyed out except for my homeworld, and attempting to select the homeworld itself results in the game refusing to acknowledge my click.

Ignore this, I found out the reason: my world did not have a spaceport yet :S

First, your planets can only have a trade route between them if at least one has a spaceport (but you already figured this out, so ignore this).

Second, you can only import things that your planet's designation produces, so, for example, if a planet is designated as a consumer goods autofac, you can only import food, goods, and luxuries from it, even if it produces other things. The capital planet is designated as a capital planet, which doesn't produce anything specific, so nothing can be imported from it.
