Have you fought in a war with another empire?
Have you had a mass imperial outrage(ex all your planets were in civil war)?
Post about it here!

Due to a long absence by The Weaver, the Economic Tapestry fell on hard times. Worlds rebelled, the weave began to unravel, and enemies began pulling on loose threads at the edge of the empire. The rebellion of Philadelphia, the second most important sector capital of the empire, was the hardest blow. In addition to severing communication with a whole sector, the imperial navy's gunship fleet was lost there. (Stupid rebels. They take your ships with them when they leave the empire, which can make it nearly impossible to recapture former shipyards.)

Then, The Weaver returned. He found the political landscape much changed, both internally and externally. On the one hand, he decided to recapture as many rebellious worlds as possible in the core sectors. On the other, the FUS now seemed to present a clear and present danger to the empire, with a jumpship fleet called "FUS Special Forces" actively capturing worlds loyal to the Tapestry in the former Philadelphia sector and around the edges of the empire.

Pulling together ships from all over the empire, The Weaver began recapturing key worlds and re-weaving trade links in an attempt to revive shipbuilding at yards that had been starved of resources. Only one Foundation had survived the interregnum, leaving almost all the shipyards greatly impaired in their ability to produce useful ships. On the external front, a fleet of Vanguard Explorers was dispatched to track down the FUS Special Forces fleet. They were discovered orbiting EPSILON, beyond the borders of the core sectors, and The Weaver dispatched the Tapestry's last remaining Minotaur Gunships to deal with them.

A great victory! With 18% casualties, the FUS Special Forces were annihilated! Tens of thousands of FUS imperial guard, armored infantry, and exotroop brigades perished in their transports. Enough jumpships were destroyed to severely weaken the FUS's expansion for decades to come. The FUS defensive fleets remain strong, though... will they rebuild their jumpship fleet and retaliate?

The story from my point of view:
The emperor of the Economic Tapestry was taking a leave. He was the largest empire, which meant he has the greatest military strength. The Lead decided to take him on. After gathering ships from all FUS-controlled areas of the galaxy, The Lead assembled a fleet that was known as FUS Special Forces. At 110,000 space forces and ~7,000 ground forces,it was the perfect fleet to
take a chunk out of the Economic Tapestry. After conquering many worlds on the fringes and around Philadelphia of the Economic Tapestry,I became the largest empire. By about 90 worlds. The Economic Tapestry soon killed the FUS Special Forces. But the output of The Lead's jumpship yards never changed, and neither did the output of the military academys, so one day, a FUS fleet called Pride One will emerge out of the cloak of the FUS and defeat Shroud and Nero

The FUS(Former United States) has learned its lesson The Minister, The Dept. Of Inter-Imperial Relations and and Dept of Defense has all agreed to discontinue the conquering of the Weaver and turn war efforts toward the final annihilation of Nero and Shroud. The FUS remains strong and the largest empire.

If your empire has less that 100 worlds and 5 sector capitals, you are considered a fart and any attacks from the fart will result in immediate annihilation.

200% Ships back. 120% Troops back

You underestimate the FUS. I produce 30,000 space forces a day, 1000 ground forces a day.
On with my story.

The Great Recovery

The Lead Ritik Mishra made a speech at the capital of the FUS. Tens of billions of citizens tuned in on their ansibles, devices which allow communication faster than light. "Although the skirmish between us and the Economic Tapestry has been somewhat devastating, and the loss of our special forces has hit us hard, we are beginning to recover. For those of you living near the sector capital Plum Factory or in the ex-Shroud area, you may already know that almost HALF of our forces have been rebuilt.[cheering occurs] That's right! HALF of the 110,000 space forces have been rebuilt." It has been ONLY 45 YEARS and yet we are the largest empire. Our starship yards continue to thrive and attacks will be made on Nero soon. All in all, our empire is doing better than ever before"
The Minister, The Lead, the higher ranking military officers, trade experts and the Dept. of Defense all came together to figure out how to create the maximum output per shipyard or military academy. They decided that the shipyard/academy should be importing from a parts autofac, goods autofac, trillium extractor and a hexacarbide foundry. All the other worlds should he importing from a goods autofac, trillium extractor and a hexacarbide foundry.
Eager to rebuild the that was lost, the Lead orders all ships from Old Ondros to Plum Factory, a Earth-like planet near Corode, the capital of Nero. A great battle! Only 6% causalities! "Great. Now when we look at the galactic charts, is isn't as messy. [chuckles]" said Cmdr Devangar. Days later, Lead Assistant Briggs rushed in to Mishra's office. "Sir! Sir! The new census data is in! We are at 301 planets! And 2.28 trillion people!" "That makes the FUS the largest by population and size. Also, you've been given full health insurance, which means cloning if you die and free treatment of most ailments in addition to your current Govt. Discount, " Mishra responded. "Thank you, sir," Briggs responded.

To be continued

"While it has been quite a while since we lost the original FUS Special Forces to the Space Blanket, we have recovered. Our fleet has been rebuilt, and now with more infantry!" - Lead Ritik Mishra
