Oh, I misread the function list. But it also doesn't seem to work. Setting an enemy's perception to 0 doesn't seem to change the distance at which they'll start shooting at the player.

It could be that attempts to change perception may be ignored. I tried that some versions ago and it did not seem to work, but I forgot if I tried to change AI's perception or my (player)ship's. I have not tried changing perception lately in 1.7 alpha. Changing fireRateAdj still works, though.

 I remember having poked at shpSetAISetting a bit, but I never could get it to work. This was early on in my modding career — like, pre-Ministry — so I probably just thought I was doing something wrong. I may give it a poke sometime tonight and see if it’s broken and needs ticketed.
