I think the ships look good. I don't think they look like any normal anatomical appendage. I suppose it's all relative, right? If anything, I would say the Xeno Worldship looks like one, but then, that's just me!

The Himal interceptor's phalicness is diluted because it also resembles the V-2 rocket which carries an entirely seperate set of unpleasant connotations.

I think the V-2 was more rounded in the middle, and tapered off more, thus making a long, pointy oval-ish shape, plus its fins.
Then again, the himal interceptor is really the only 'classic-missile' shaped ship in the game...

It is stretched longitudinaly, but it still says Nazi Missile to me more than phallic symbol. I know objectively that a student of Freudian analasys would call it a phallic symbol if it showed up in a dream, but it just isn't disturbing that way to me.

I actually didn't really think of this prior to this conversation; when I saw it, I saw a classic, obsolete design, signifying a people with low cash who were somehow insane enough to use custom ships instead of cheap, off-the-shelf ones like the corsair...

However I explicitly made sure in all my ships that they didn't come out as phallic symbols...

But yeah that ship is a little too short for me to immediately draw that conclusion, possibly it could be made more implied triangular (think larger battlepod)

Here's a concept model for a Ringer Battle Pod. I figure the Teratons already have a monopoly on the whole sphere thing, so I'm trying to give the Ringers a different look.

Of course, you have to realize the actual ship is currently displayed in a 30x30 box. Its a tiny little thing - you don't get to see all the details!

Actually, looking t this; it looks nothing like anything phallic but, Aeonic you still could have simply rebutted him with a flat denial rather than making a big deal about gutterminded people.
