I took the Creative Commons html-compatible versions and made them BB-Code compatible.

CC:BY-NC-SA is the generally recommended one, as per community consensus on IRC.

HOWEVER, note that we are still waiting to here back from george regarding mod licensing, so don't leap to do anything official just yet ;)

OK! The license you suggested sounds like a good one for mods, as it means you can build upon it (with permisiion) but not distribute it for money.
