HELP! Modding Tools

Hey guys! If you remember, I only have an Android tab to mod Transcendence. I'm doing good with the coding part (using a Notepad++ alternative called DroidEdit).

I've decided on taking it further by making ship models in Android! And here's where I need your help.
The best app I found for modelling is called Spacedraw.
I think I can get used to it.
Do you think its good?

Now, there are these things called spritesheets and bitmasks, and I don't know a thing about them.
Would I be able to construct em on my droid?
