Has anyone had any experience with VUE?
From the looks of it, its immensely useful for creating geographical features, and I've seen some pretty impressive planets rendered in it (see image below).
The price tag for the software is a little steep so I thought I'd ask before I dive in.
Anyone use VUE 3D?

If that's the fancy program I think it is that gets used by movie studios then "a little pricey" is putting it mildly. Does look pretty neat though. I don't know any designers who've used it though (none of the folks I know can afford that kind of software)

Fortunately it isnt too extreme - The full suite runs about the same as Flash.
I also found out there's a free version as well, so I guess I can try it for myself too.
