I like your concept art :-)
Did you found some programmers?

BTW, currently I'm playing EV Nova. I can take out most of pirate ships, but it's all :-( I'm not very good in that game :-(
Sorry for my poor english :-(

Maybe... lots of stuff is still pie in the sky at the moment - I have more concept art - you can check there to see if anything new gets put up now and then.

EDIT:

Has anyone tried it? I'm not getting any feedback on the CS forums.

I've just finished one storyline in EV Nova. Game economics is too simple, combat too complex in one moment, too simple in another. You can earn 50-60 millions in half an hour. Not good :/

EDIT: about GalGen Trader - I don't know why but text size is really tiny...

I've finished an Aurora storyline. It wasn't very hard to do, especially when I had an large amounts of money. I think that some ideas contained in that storyline (powerful psionics, ultimate warrior, galaxy-wide peace etc) was rather silly. Transcendence is better game - and for free! :D

Jump to solar system, sell your weapon, hire six Cargo Drones, head to Europa, buy luxury goods, go to Earth, sell luxury goods. If you have good amount of cash, release cargo drones, buy fastest ship there (Viper? I don't remember), hire six Terrapins, proceed 'til you have about 3,4 millions. Then buy IDA Frigate, arm it (best with some auroran weapons) and go to kill some pirates. If you can do Sigma Shipyards quest (you must have decent fighting ability) you will gain access to buy and hire Pegasus and Leviathan. Now everything is simple - sell IDA, buy fastest ship with Afterburner and repeat buy-sell process (hiring first Pegasuses then Leviathans 0 but be warned - six Leviathans cost 700k daily) till you drop dead :-)

In the starmap. It's so small that I cannot read it without literally sticking my nose to the monitor...

What kind of programming language do you use?

OK, I'll post it but I must turn on my second computer :D

Gimme five minutes :-)

EDIT:
Begin logging: 07 Nov 2010 03:21:49
Took 1662 ms to generate galaxysize 50000 galaxy with 10000 stars.
Resolution is 1600CamX900.

EDIT2: P IV 2800 1,5 GB RAM, I don't remember graphics card name (it's not really my computer :D), Win XP SP2.

edit3: on Vista there is still very small font. Oh, I almost forget - game switches from fullscreen to window when I engage planet.

Yeah, it should do that.

I'm not sure what the problem with the text is, that's the same screen resolution I have. It doesn't really matter though, the text doesn't say anything important. Just the names of the stars, and they all just have numerical names...
