RM - future of memory storage?

RM - racetrack memory: a form of magnetic, non-volatile memory storage that relys on "sliding" magnetic domains along nanowires. Each magnetic domain contains a 1 or 0 state, and can be "moved" via electric current in the nanowire. By making a folded nanowire, then stacking a bunch of these folded wires next to each other like books, a storage density of far above conventional HDD's can be achieved. Meanwhile, even plain horizantal setups can outcompete current flash memory. What is even better is that RM does not have any truly moving parts (despite the fact that you get a movement of 150m/s (converted from 150nm/ns) from RM which is millions of times faster than a HDD), thus eliminating mechanical failure (like HDDs), and it does not "wear out" like flash memory does after about 10-20 thousand read/write cycles.
