anyone want a copy of ALL the functions on xelerus?
this is a couple pages of xelerus downloaded for offline use, with an internet connection it IS xelerus.
without an internet connection however, it WILL STILL WORK, albeit not as well, the links will go invalid a few clicks in, and search don't work, but at least you will still have access to all the functions!
unzip it, and open index
2.79mb .zip here
you should see this:
remember to use the back button if no connection is available.
EDIT: another version has been added as well, it does not have the categorized view, but is more up to date: october 6, 2008. in the same zip.
if the download link goes dead sometime in the future, just let me know.

[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad

you can dump all the functions on xelerus in a txt using this link:
http://xelerus.de/doc_function_txt.php
however the most recent list of functions we have is here:

Well, if the community wants me to, I could compile the Xelerus functions into a small offline functioning website using Adobe DreamWeaver CS3. In this way, one could browse all of the functions without broken links, and in an orderly fashion instead of the alphabet soup on has to digest when dumping to a text file.
I recently (like, earlier today) mirrored the "All Functions" page of Xelerus and then going one link deep off of there to my local hard drive for my own personal offline usage. It works great. There's a million ways you can do this... I actually used a plug-in for Firefox called "ScrapBook". wget is your friend also.
Anyway, I got every single function page and the "All Functions" index (but not the categorized function index) and it's super handy. It comes to between 4 and 4.5 megabytes uncompressed. Compressing it into standard .zip format using 7-zip brought it down to just over 1 meg, and compressing it into a .7z archive with 7-zip squished it down to a teensy file of less than 120K! Perfect for downloading, even over slow dial-up it would be done in less than a minute.
I'd like to upload this to Xelerus, but figured I should ask permission first.
Anyway, it works great!

I'm working on new sounds for Transcendence. Check out what I have so far: http://xelerus.de/index.php?s=mod&id=825
(still a work in progress, but it does work!)
