Blender 2.5 Alpha 2 is available

I know, I know.
Everyone hates blender.
But ver 2.5 totally redesigned the UI and it is much more intuitive now. It's still in Alpha 2 release and has a few bugs (no more than 2.49 did!)
In 2 hours I managed to make a fairly decent replica of the gladiator station.

It's still missing the UV map for the domes and some texturing but it was infinitely easier working with the new UI. My tiny little laptop has trouble rendering anything too complex but I feel it came out alright.

If you're interested the DL is available at blender.org
Currently only the windows version is available. (XP, Vista & 7)

I like the new UI very much (I had the alpha 0 release from ages ago), though alpha 0 was rather unstable; I suppose that alpha 2 is much more stable?

I tried blender once about a year ago, trying to learn it melted my mind. XD

New UI you say? May have to try it again
