Just seeing if anyone else here is keen on watching the odd cheesy movie to poke fun at.

here's my current list (abridged, I've forgotten a few of the ones I had on it the last time I wrote it up to see how much I could find...)

So bad it's good:

Troll 2 (If you are planning to make a horror film, watch this first to see how NOT to do it.)
Space Mutiny (Railing kill!)
Escape 2000 (Purely for the scene featuring a dummy getting thrown out of a helicopter)
Giant Spider Invasion
The Deadly Mantis
The Creeping Terror
Santa Claus (The 1950's mexican film which to this day gives me nightmares of creepy laughing vampire clockwork raindeer)
Reefer Madness
Home Alone 2
Any of the Home Alone films for that matter, if you enjoy poking fun at how damned sadistic (and androgynous, in the case of HA2) the protagonistical kid is.
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Plan 9 from Outer Space
The Core
Armageddon (The one with the asteroid and the nuclear bomb....as if THAT narrows it down)

List of TORTUROUS DEATH(We shall never speak of these again, ok?):

Manos, The hands of fate
Terror from the year 5000 (Has the terror turned up yet? Nope. How far are through the movie? Uh....too far....)
Hobgoblins
Invasion of the Neptune Men (goes on this list by default through both terribleness, boringness, and use of stock footage that's unsuitable for the childrens film it's supposed to be, EG. Actual footage of civilians being bombed in WW2)
Megashark VS Giant Octopus (Sorry, but the shark-eats-plane scene, while hilarious, does not redeem that film enough)
Star Wars: The Holiday Special
Harry Potter III (Do not. Talk. About. This. Movie. To. Me.)
Battlefield Earth
Battlefield Earth
Battlefield Earth
Anything by Uwe Boll.

Probables/Possibles/Future things to look for:

Plan 9 from Outer Space (The remake. Quite possibly may be terrible through not being bad enough)
Avatar II
Avatar III
Sharktopus (The trailer for this is awesome. However I've yet to find a copy of it in New Zealand, largely because it's a TV movie from the states)
Troll 3
Troll 3 (the OTHER one. There are two different films called Troll 3, neither of which features any trolls, which I suppose does count as continuity going on from Troll 2. Both are extremely difficult to find here)
The 2-3 films coming out in the "80's TV series, the Movie" category over the next 2-3 years (EG. The A-Team, Macgyver). They'll either be awesome, or fall straight into riffing territory.

(Any move that is TRULY bad: any movie with >3 titles usualy gets lame. every syfy and hallmark movie ever made... one or two exceptions, maybe. )

[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad

If every thread in this forum got that when a tvtropes thing covered it, we'd gain a full 10,000 posts.
