So... that would imply he was dumber originally. That is a scary, scary thought.

Are you calling Schilbot_V4 stupid?

Schilbot_V4 is not stupid. His speech is so far beyond your comprehension is just looks like word salad.

It's actually kind of uncanny if you try to make sense of what he says.

There are numerous rumors on other sites that I'm actually an extremely good AI.

And a Hell Breakfast Emitter sounds like a really sweet weapon....

Hmm...where have I seen that before.....

Ah, yes.....I think I remember....

Same here.

If someone found me proper sprites to use for the Hell Breakfast Emitter I'd mod it into the game. :P

There is a difference between intelligence and a program able to exploit human perception. Look up 'the policeman's beard is half constructed' - its utter nonsense, but at least grammatically correct nonsense, however most people will try to find and apply - all incorrectly - meaning to the words and phrases.

This is completely true, the thing about markov is its inherenty random, and the more word pairs it gathers the more random it will be. Plug in 1 for a start in a markov chain and watch how far it spirals in either direction. You can understand how it 'picks', it takes a little while to wrap your head around it but in the end its just putting random pairs together to make a sentince that can make a tad bit of sense. Which is great, but it is not actually understanding.

And Wolfy, what if the policeman is...an android! Or wearing a false beard! :D
(Yes, that's non-serious. :P)

Gotta love a good Markov in the morning.
