I hope yes, I don't want to be alone there. But in fact I'm not.

I know a bit about planes, having flown a few my self. But that was a long time ago, and I never finished getting a pilot license.

Oh gosh, one that is a bit unsafe - a tri-wing WW1 Fokker.

You kidding me? THe plain was a triwing and was capable of doing so much during that time period. Never seen something like that, now its technology. Not a bad thing but times change.

Yeah flying old planes at an air show seems like it might be so fun.

SOI SOI SOI SOI SOI...

On a more serious note, I've built airplanes in Garrysmod before. It's a physics simulator. I modified them so that they could fly themselves.
[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad

Just not exactly the same thing as really flying a plane, its totally different, unless your in the military flying a drone.

Just remembered 3 of my favs
1. P-51 Mustang
2. B-29 Superfortress- I love the feel invoked by the four engines
3. F-35 Lightning II- the STOVL version. I love how random it is how vertical take off is introduced to a fighter.
I don't fly though (not dedicated enough).

Finally, some concrete. Great, so there are my:
1. Focke-Wulf (152,190 and others)
2. Lockheed C-3 Orion
3. Antonov An-12
Of cours it's not all. And the answer is:
You are probably from USA
Only an American would choose such aircraft. I suppose.

So... was the whole thread just a ploy to wait for that kind of response? For some reason I found it really amusing (I fell off the chair even!).
