Anyone have any interesting riddles they know? I'm not talking about joke riddles, I mean logic riddles. (please don't put that riddle where the guy hangs himself on ice that melts, I think everyone knows that one) Here's an interesting one I know:
A man was walking in a labyrinth, and finds himself in a room. In the room there are two doors: one leaving the labyrinth and one leading into a life of horrible torture and slave labor. Obviously, he wants to go through the door where he gets out of the labyrinth. In front of each door there is a man. Both men look exactly the same and are exactly the same except for one difference: the man in front of the door leaving the labyrinth always tells the truth, and the man in front of the torture door always lies. Both men always answer obvious questions such as "Do you look alike?" truthfully. They tell the man he gets one question to figure out which is the truth teller and which is the liar. What question should he ask?

It doesn't matter which is the truth teller and which is the liar, it only matters which door leads to freedom.
Ask either guard which door the other guard would say leads to freedom. Take the other door.
The honest guard will honestly tell you what the liar would say. The liar will lie about what the honest guard would say. Either way you get a lie and with only two possibilities the truth is the simple negation of that lie.

heh, that's the classical Alice in Wonderland Tweedledum and Tweedledee riddle. I like itthe man in front of the door leaving the labyrinth always tells the truth, and the man in front of the torture door always lies.
To resolve it you have to ask: "Do you think that the other man thinks that this is the right door ?"
If you are talking to the guy that tells the truth than he will say NO, because he knows that the other person is lying and the other person will tell no if the door is right.
If you are talking to the liar, then he will say YES, because you are in front of the wrong door, the other guy will tell the truth (no, wrong door), and so the liar will answer the contrary.
At the end you choose the door if the guys says NO, and the other door if the guy says YES.
Take a look at this too:

That makes sense.
Here's an interesting riddle:
Here's an interesting riddle:
An inspector is investigating a murder. A police man had just shot a recently released convict. The inspector was to meet the police officer at the scene of the crime. He followed the officer through the tape, then into a warehouse. They went to the fourth floor, room 482. They pulled open the door and stepped inside. The room was little more than a supply closet. There were a few barrels and boxes stacked neatly against the wall. A chalk outline of a corpse was near the door. The accused officer then told his story:After the story, the inspector knew that the story was a lie. What were the two reasons that let him know that the police officer was not telling the truth?Six years ago, I arrested Jack Jackson. When he went to jail, he swore to kill me when he got out of jail. Last week, he was released. I saw him walking on the street and tried to get away, but he saw me. I tried running into this warehouse, but he followed me. I ran into this room, hoping to lose him. I pulled out my gun, aiming to shoot past his head, and scare him away. But he pushed open the door and knocked down a barrel. It hit my legs just as I shot, and my aim went bad and I hit him. I meant to scare him, not kill him.

Door swung inward would probably be one, but the other... barrels still stacked neatly, or on the side the door doesn't open?

Yeah, the first is that they pulled the door open while entering, and it being pushed in was what knocked the barrel over in the story. The second is that the barrels are all stacked neatly, so none of them fell over, because any police team would leave the crime scene how it was, so if the barrel fell, it would still be fallen over.

Here's another I just thought of:
Three men walked into a woods. A wolf attack killed all three. The survivors then ran out of the forest. How is this possible?
