What qualifications do you need to become an administrator? I've always wanted to become one but never had the guts to do it. What do you need?

Most importantly, complete trust from george and the community. You need to be very active, and a good communicator. And then you need to be willing to spend you time doing the (sometimes) boring work.

And an actual need for another administrator/global mod. (And for full admin, the knowledge of PHPBB3)

If you were wondering:
Ttech was not just promoted btw; he was a full admin since the recent staff restructuring, just not set to the admin group as his default group since... back in march I think.
Also, on a related note:
All the Global mods have User admin privileges though, and can do things like banning, user group changes & additions, etc. They just can't make new boards (because of the annoying permission system that phpbb3 has, making any additions/changes possibly make a mess of things), or change server settings.

Er... Thanks, i was referring to general qualifications though, plus my part time job and my course take up alot of my time. I am used to the boring work though.

Plus if i ever do become an administrator for the forum's (highly unlikely at this point in time) i would do it voluntarily anyway. Why? Because i LOVE the forums and chatting, and giving advice to other players. New and experienced alike. :mrgreen:
