physicists might be on the verge of discovering a revolution in quantum physics.
dark matter and dark energy might not exists at all !
the discrepancy in gravitational observations, such as how galaxies spin at "wrong speeds" vs the ones calculated by relativity might be described in the properties of quantum vacuum.
In particular, if quantum vacuum loops (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loop_quantum_gravity) have gravitational dipoles then there is no need to invoke dark matter or a dark energy to explain galaxies rotation or the accelerated expansion of the universe.

This guy (http://link.springer.com/article/10.100 ... 012-1303-3) also proposes an experiment to calculate this new physics theory.

Very interesting. I always thought "dark matter" and "dark energy" were grandiose names for "stuff we have no idea about."

I think it's cute how scientists try to figure out a trillion or more year movement after only observing things for such a short period of time, most data being less than 100 years old.
They're just so adorable with their little networked supercomputers. You know what they say, bad data in, bad data out.

Well, the movement isn't getting any younger. May as well start researching it.

So "red matter" is out of the question then? (I'm ashamed to admit of having watched the most recent Star Trek movie belatedly ). Singularity out the window (swoosh)! :?
