Mostly game BGMs or instrumental music.
Has resurfaced!
Anything from the 30's to the 80's with a little techno thrown in.

Same as Autohummer + Coldplay and some Frank Sinatra stuff.

Mainly techno. Atomic Inc is my favorite producer of music, except now he changes names a lot. I think his latest name is "Bass Piratez"

My ears accept everything, I just can't stand hiphop, rap and dubstep. (with exceptions, of course, if you think that Skrillex is dubstep, you might want to try Lindsey Stirling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHjpOzsQ9YI )
Recently I've been fascinated by this:
beautiful C64 and SID remixes
http://remix.kwed.org/
8 bit music, picodisco, out of control tunes

Pappap is one of my favourites !

Music for me is... a mystery.
I apparently don't like pretty much anything which is modern (at least which I have heard)
I am not too interested in seeking music myself so I don't actually know what the average tune is these days.
My father has a... diverse collection of music spanning from the 80's - 00's and whenever I hear something from it I get this massive nostalgia hit (but I don't know if It's good music or just Nostalgia)
Of the few things I have found is that I appreciate instrumental music, without singing, some electronic music is nice, but I don't know the correct term for the subgenre which I appreciate more than the others. (the style which C418 uses, though not so much the 8-Bit parts)
Indeed I only found that artist's music through playing Minecraft, and again the confusion arises from whether I'm just getting Nostalgia hits from wasting months of time playing that game...
Dubstep-what I have heard is Interesting but I can't exactly say that I enjoy the experience of listening to it.
Classical works are good, and I want to collect the best ones, but then I fear that there is a selection bias, being that only the very best music actually survived through the middle ages, renaissance and industrial revolution, which in comparison to today's vast Melange of celebrity musicians with their blaring lyrics of mundane absurdities and lowlife dreams, being modulated and distorted and remixed and accelerated in a beat which is 10% faster and louder than last decade... their average can't compete until all the crap has been filtered away by oblivion leaving only that which is truly able to stand the test of time and thus qualified.
I enjoy the collected newagey works of Enya, Mike Oldfield's Masterpiece "Tubular Bells III"
and the works of all the classical instrumental genii.
In short I'm not prepared to spend the time necessary to locate something good if it's less than a couple of decades old, the exceptions being that those musics have found their way to me.
I should have warned you at the beginning, I normally keep my mouth shut about these topics because if I don't a mess like the above coalesces

Rock n' Roll with some metal mixed in (but no screamo AT ALL) and dubstep. Lots and lots of dubstep. I also like just about anything from Voltaire, and lots of creature feature. I hate all forms of rap except for Rollin by lil bizkit, and I love most everything from the 70's to the 90's. I also hate country music. No exceptions.

I listen to anything but rap, but over the last few years I've gotten really into big band music for some reason. Like "In the Mood" I can listen to over and over and over again. I currently listen to "The Ink Blots" quite a bit when I'm playing Trans though. I got hooked on them the very first time I listened to them when I loaded Fallout.
Ehh, I should state that I don't dislike all rap, I believe it's called "No handle bars" got my attention a few years back and I actually enjoyed that. Other than that I can't think of any rap post 1985 that I can stomach and even less before. The Fat Boys used to be entertaining and funny, do they count as rap?

The only rap that I would put in my music folder is "Gotta Stay Fly" from Ace Combat Assault Horizon, though it may also count as a piece of game BGM.

Speaking of the 80's anyone else dig The Cure? The Bolshoi? Sex Pistols, the Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, Cockney Rejects, The Dead Kennedies, Social Distortion, nu wave & punk rock?
