Transcendence has a Wiki ! :D
http://wiki.neurohack.com/transcendence/wiki/

However a wiki, as a definition, is a page or collection of Web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content.
There is no Wiki if the community do not contribute to it.

So help us finish the wiki, we need YOU ! :D

Sweet charity! Digdug, how in the worlds were you able to create such a picture? Did you use Photoshop, or the Corel Suite? Also, what classification of help is needed on the wiki? (:-)

10 mins with GIMP ?

The help needed for the wiki is help to put data in the wiki.
Well, everyone is welcome to contribute to it.

More categories will be added soon.
We can add all the tutorials we have right now, and write some more.
Here for the list of tutorials we have: http://www.neurohack.com/transcendence/ ... php?t=1807

A wiki made by 4-5 people is not a wiki, it's just a shared document. What we need is some community help.

Ok digdug, I'll see what I can do. BTW thanks for explaining the difference between a wiki and a shared document. :)

One problem that I see with the wiki is that it is UGLY. It's just not appealing to the eye. I'll spread my knowledge around a little though.
[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad

Yo! I've registered at the wiki (same username) - could someone get me edit access? I'm not a robot, really. :-)

Yes, you should be on the lookout for new users with similar usernames that are on the forums, otherwise I won't be able to write several paragraphs on the ups and downs of every second item ingame :D

In recent weeks, I've added "Other" sections to several weapons and armors, and created a page for the PM6 Slicer cannon. :)

I have began adding "Community Description" to the Missiles and Ammo section, beneath each "Game Description".

This follows a more wiki-style approach of community-based feedback that forms a polished whole from experiences of individuals.

Please look at my Comm Descs, before making your own. Keep a little humour, but write it as if telling a total newb about it. Use [[References|Names]] links please.

Don't fill it full of numbers though, the chart does that. Just say "the KM500 Stilletto missile is more powerful than the KM100 Longbow" etc.

All Missiles and Ammo now have Community Descriptions.

I need you guys to help though, I can't do this alone! It's not that hard.

Take the raw facts and simply explain them. Add any personal experience you have had with them too. By "them" I mean any weapon/armour etc.

Thanks! ;)

If you find you still cannot log into the wiki, please let me know on irc or pm me with your wiki account name, so I can activate it.
