How did you find out about transcendence??

Didnt remember, it is long time now :).

I was one of first members, I think I start playing with 0.7 version (or it was 0.8?).
And I play it more or less regulary from first time up to now.
My English, may be poor, but better than yours Czechs.

Aside from the forum necromancers, yeah, nobody cares about opening old threads. :D Although I believe I have that Maximum PC as well, though, I don't think it was 2004 because .99 was 2007-2008.

We have in Poland magazine named "CD-Action", it's about the games, computers etc.
And in November (or someone else month) in 2008 they gave in DVD "150 freeware games". One of those games was Transcendence 0.99c
I remember that then I did not know nothing in English, and playing it was really hard, but extremly addictive too :P

But just in February 2011 I joined to this great community in this forum :D

Bah, only two months this time so doesn't count as necromancy.

Like several of the others through a freeware site, although I first found Anacreon since I am usually into strategy games and they had a link to George's web page with the newer version. Followed the "Other Games" link to Transcendence and have been busy restarting with new mods since. Of course now that I'm trying to finish a full run through he goes and releases 1.08.

You could try an old save with 1.08. It sometimes works.

the changes to 1.08 are not massive for players -- you can finish a game in previous versions and move onto 1.08 or beyond when you want to!
