Where should welcome threads go?

Discuss the community, including forums, xelerus, wiki, chat, and trac.

Just wondering if they should be put here, in CW, or in Off Topic.
(in the future, once we get better forum software, we can stick them in a dedicated welcome subform, but I'm very wary about adding new forums on phpbb2, as it would be very cluttered.)

Technically they should go in community, however I think Commonwealth is a far better place. Mainly because it has been like that for quite a long time and its a 'friendly' board to use.

I always thought community was better for discussing things realting to the community software and sites.

I agree with Ttech... I think we should have one welcome thread that ppl can post in, and no more. Any other "welcome me" threads will be locked and buried and the posted castigated (kidding). At least this is how many other forums deal with it. Here is an example
