So, I was just looking at my Hell's Trinity thread for some reason, and I noticed up the top of the page, next to "Bookmark Topic" etc, there was a "Bump Topic" link.

I clicked it and - shazam! Hell's Trinity suddenly shot to number one in the topic listings! All it did was make my last post a 'new' post, with the footnote of "Last Bumped by ThePrivateer at blahblahblab".

I never saw that before - it's quite nice. Anyone else used this before?

The option isn't available right now...(for this thread) perhaps it's only available when the thread is a certain amount of days/weeks old? :|

Probably. But people should avoid abusing that function. >.> I mean, obviously it has quite some potential for wreaking havok. I think I might just disable it and let people bump normally via posts. (preferably to encourage them to add something constructive)

Yeah that's fine, I think. I just thought I'd mention it though. :D

For the most part, bumping threads its largely frowned upon, if you have need to bump it, there might be better locations you can ask your question. Especially at this point in the community, there is hardly a need to consider bumping it. Activity plentiful. :P
