Hi, Androgeos has issues with some of the extensions on Succession #2.
He's running Mac OS X, and I was just wondering if we should make a section on trac for bugs on other operating systems so we don't leave the Mac/linux/not Window users in the dark when they're trying to play Transcendence. It's good to at least know what you're going to expect, and the proposed section would be great for that.

I don't want any sort of copyright on my Transcendence mods. Feel free to take/modify whatever you want.

A group for Linux and OS X can be created easily enough, though they are not fully supported since they must be run though wine. Hopefully someone takes up the challenge of native versions.

Ok, just making a note here, but a bitrate of 705600 (like in NewSounds's particle2.wav) doesn't work on Mac OS X through Wine/CrossOver.

I added a Wine-Linux and Wine-Mac version to the trac as requested on IRC; they aren't meant as actual versions, but rather as places to put bugs/issues that are SPECIFIC to running transcendence in Wine under those environments. Just set the version it occurs under to be Wine-Linux or Wine-Mac. Set Milestone to be the exact same thing so they don't get mixed up with issues that george is fixing (this may change at a later date if he so wishes to support WINE under mac or linux, but... I can't speak for him.), and for clarity, its probably best to put [Linux] or [Mac] in the ticket title so as not to confuse george.

The problem with wine is it introduces its own issues and bugs separate from Linux and Mac.
