nice work: found a bug though:

when I click on a check box (ie, featured mods), the screen refreshes without me telling it to with the search button

Thanks :) I finally found time to add these long needed changes! One sidenote: when can we expect you to join the IRC :P? We promise that we won't be that annoying ;) (You can also get the banhammer!)

Bimbel,

I noticed that there are many pages where the mods and info were deleted, yet the page still exists. Are you planning to remove those pages, (which contain error messages), or keep them there as placeholders. Also, could you post a thread in the Shipyards forum, where we can be advised of which mods you are removing - before they are removed; as well as being advised of future changes?

By the way, I have been taking a web page design course in college, and was wondering if you created Xelerus yourself, or had it created by another.

Hm good catch! It should give you a message that there is no mod nr. xyz. Though they are not individual pages! there is only one page with the structure that is feeded the mod data by a database!

I'm currently replanning the way mods are deleted! In the new system you'll get a reason for why a mod was deleted (also moderators may recover the deleted mods then!)

What do you mean by future changes?

Yeah everything is programmed by me! Though it's not really high level programming ;)

Bimbel,

Thank you for posting a reply so soon. By future changes, I mean things like website improvements and mod changes (i.e. - were a modder to have an abundance of godmods, and you were considering compacting them all inorder to save space as opposed to outright deletion).

You did well in creating your website; and the result down not appear like low level programming.

Hi! I found a couple things, so I thought I'd report them:

Trivial: typo- 'the mod you will uploade will overwrite...'
Minor: oddity- the name of the mod file does not match the name of the mod if the mod's name is edited (so when I shortened my ridiculously long name for the osaka, the file retained the ridiculously long name)

[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad

 bluehost will let you upload as much web-site pertinent stuff as you like; so long as you don't use it for personal backup space [they have a separate but included service for that though a partner's dedicated servers]; hosting mods is certainly allowed.

@bimble: I thought this way large mods/sources could be uploaded to xelerus (beyond the 5MB cap)
I was thinking that if I maintained a single 'mod' for the current versions sources in its entirety rather than linking off to a separate site... I don't care much if TX2 needs to be linked off to my own sites, but the sources are a different situation.
