Eternity Port ending issue [Spoiler]
When I defeated Luminous I wandered around for ages trying to find out what I was supposed to do next. Resorted to Googling to find out I was supposed to go back to Eternity Port to end the game. :/ I think there should be an actual choice as to whether you accept Malina's offer to go to Eternity po...

Silent login failure
I can't seem to log in in-game. More specifically, when attempting to sign on via: pressing the button on the start screen, then entering in credentials and clicking Sign In, the login screen simply disappears for second and then reappears with the password field now empty. Trying to create a new ac...

Re: Ugliest ship design nominations
Always disliked the color scheme of the Ares, but I don't think that's changing any time soon.

I'd like to echo something very similar to this.Yugi wrote:I was 13 then, and 21 now! Please don't read my old posts

Though I'm still a bit of an idiot at times even now.

Re: Compartments making bosses a bit too tough?
Charon Pirate Frigates. 50 Mark I shots (20 Mark III shots) or so in a dogfight (in a real fight only 1 in 2 are going to hit). Kronosaurus: 50 MK III and 100 MK I. If a fight is lasting three minutes, it's probably going to be a rather frustrating affair, you're either invulnerable or you're going ...

Auton Bay not showing devices and other auton bugs/comments
Installed devices don't show up at all when using the auton bay (this applies to the aegis auton as well). If you have multiple weapons installed only the most recently installed will show up. There is no way to remove devices or weapons. You can't install a particle beam weapon on the 1M battle au...

Re: Compartments making bosses a bit too tough?
If you think it plausible that there could be version differences could you run a test (the G.O.D. mod (which should be renamed "Debug/Testing mod"
) is good for this) to see if you also find you need 30 Mark I Howitzer shots/200 nonWMD shots?

Re: Compartments making bosses a bit too tough?
How do you know that the Destroyer's armor segment is already destroyed? Because the Destroyer's listed damage % goes up very quickly until the late 40s, then slows to a crawl when attacked by a non-WMD weapon. Getting to that half way point takes two of those howitzer shots (which makes sense give...

Re: Compartments making bosses a bit too tough?
@digdug: WMD only matters against compartments, noncritical segments and stations. The Destroyer only has the first, hence why a Mark I howitzer does the full damage to the Heliotrope's normal armor segments (40 damage, knocking each out in two shots as per experiment). It then needs another 30 to t...

Re: Compartments making bosses a bit too tough?
@sun1404: Destroyers are actually slightly vulnerable to kinetic. You don't need more than 12 shots of 13 kinetic to take down an armor segment (75hp x2 due to level and vulnerability). @AssumedPseudonym: Then it would have taken 100 (compartment)+20 (slightly inconsistent shooting of a segment)+5 (...

Compartments making bosses a bit too tough?
I noticed just now in a 1.2 playthrough that my +30 enhanced smartcannon (13 damage/hit) seemed to do almost nothing to Heliotrope Destroyers (burning through hundreds of rounds to get that kill), so I run a few tests in 1.3 using the G.O.D. mod. Seems that it takes around 250 (+-30) rounds (or 3000...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually
If the answer is no then the statement The answer is sortof rather than a straight no because of what it means to observe something. Hint: entanglement Your all embracing sweeping statement merely verifies you won't even consider the idea. You haven't actually proposed an idea. You need to actually...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually
Are you saying that whey you make the observation that you find the cat inside and with the exact same observation you find the cat outside? Sortof but no. For a complete answer I refer you to the MIT OCW (yes, maths is involved, but not particularly complicated maths). Don't try wikipedia or anyth...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually
Thanks for showing us that your scientific theories are just a bag of bullshit. You claim that Einstein didn't really know what he was talking about nor the people at NIST, publishing their results in one of the most respected scientific journals. You claim they are wrong and you understand it bett...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually
If scientists are trying to disprove what they think then why do people still believe in time dilation? The classic example of how this works (moving parallel lines with the a signal bouncing between them) does not show time dilating but rather shows that the medium through which the signal moves i...
